I chose this King story totally at random- I had read some years ago, but not this one.I was utterly chilled and amazed to find not only the usual completely absorbing story but that King had somehow foreseen in amazing detail the rise of Trump. As I loathe everything about the horrible Trump this is both fascinating and deeply uncanny.

How on earth did King know about Trump?

Would you listen to The Dead Zone again? Why?

Been so many years since I first read this but revisiting it has just been wonderful. Loved it the first time and love it even more now. Very pertinent at the moment too!

What about James Franco’s performance did you like?

James Franco reads this so well. No great OTT performance. Just quiet mastery.

Over the years it would be safe to say that i have mixed feelings about Mr Stephen King.When i read any of his early stuff,like The Dead Zone or The Stand/Firestarter and so on,i can remember hours of pleasure as a child😁😊.Then i think about the Dark Tower series and remember how i struggled threw and said NO not for me😴😪.
