About this listen

When you're the sole surviving noble of junior lineage, don't expect much of a future. That's what some might think.

Not Gregor, though. The way he sees it, being last of a line means he can dispense with social niceties and do exactly what he wants. And if any unwelcome visitors have a problem with that, this guy's got one or two surprises for them.

Nothing really challenging in this book. It's delivered from a single perspective with other side characters from time to time. World has social rules, laws and magic system which feel balanced overall. The main character is not the most powerful being in the room. MC is very consistent. Time skips occur when you would not expect them.

Alternative earth and history. Series of events happen which are not related to begin with but eventually tie together to form a story. Academic part does not follow the standard bully troupe of the MC but actually progresses the storyline for a change.

No ending to the book it just ends. Disappointed the book finishes in what feels like the middle of a chapter and book.

Rating this book is going to difficult.
