Summary

In a world where almost everyone has a superpower, Sam Archer finds himself with one of the most useless abilities of all - immortality. Sure, he can’t die, but he sure as hell can’t fight back either. If anything, the incapacity to die has turned out to be a hassle for Sam, with ridiculous requests for obnoxious favors being a primary concern. However, his coworker Lily Dodson is about to make his life a lot more interesting with her unique proposal.

Warning: This book contains adult content that may not be suitable for all audiences, including suggestive adult scenes, slight harem elements, consensual sexual aggression on a male character by a female (slight BDSM elements), graphic violence, talk about self-harming behavior, and alcohol consumption/drug use. However, this book does not contain overly vulgar language, and it has parts you may find wholesome.

I kept hoping it would get better...

If you are into the creepy misogynistic wish fulfilment of what I assume is a fat neck beard wearing nerd, then this is the book for you...

It starts with the potential to be fun and at every turn goes out of its way to ruin it.

I’m glad I listened to it because now anything I read next will seem great in comparison.

A good book but lacking something

I really enjoyed this book the story could use some work but I have heard worse it kept me interested working night shift and made me smile the beginning was a bit drab and started off like so many other books but got more interesting I don't think this book is for everyone but neither is 50 shades I hatted 50 shades I would recommend this to some of my friends but not all of them I am looking forward to seeing what the next book is like

Annoyingly limited vocabulary

As I generally enjoy the superhero genre I started listening to this book with hopes of finding something to sink into. The narrator performs to a reasonable standard but the experience could have been improved by using a female narrator for the female characters.
I was disappointed to find that nothing really happens for the first five hours of the book but kept trudging on hoping that it was just a slow starter. Unfortunately it wasn’t a slow starter, more like a non starter! Nothing happens!
The book is full of unnecessary, young, teenage, male sexual fantasy where the two stunningly beautiful women involved have multiple orgasms from the slightest touch from the one man(boy) involved. This is annoying to start with but just plain boring by the end.
Finally, my biggest dislike; the Author has such a limited vocabulary it’s hard to listen to. The amount of “he scoffed” or “I clarified” in the book is laughable. The worst example though is the use of “I wondered” which is used on most pages. I wondered in this book means I said, because the other party always replies immediately. I found myself correcting out loud towards the end, did you wonder? Or did you just ask a question?

I will definitely not be going anywhere near the next book and I advise others who enjoy good books to stay away also.

A VERY DECENT BOOK

PERSONALLY I'D PREFERRED FOR THE NARRATOR TO HAVE BEEN ACCOMPANIED BY A OTHERS
THE BOOK HAD SOME PHRASES THAT WERE A LITTLE BIT MORE REPETITIVE THAN I THOUGHT NESSASERY
I THOUGHT THE STORY ITSELF IS A WELL THOUGHT OUT LOOK FORWARD INTO THE FUTURE
THE CHARACTERS ARE VERY MUCH INTERTWINED WITH ONE & OTHER
ISAYING THIS I WOULD VERY MUCH RECOMMEND THIS AUDIO BOOK
IT'S DEFINITELY WORTH TAKING A LISTEN
{DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT GIVE IT A SHOT}
LIKE I'VE MENTIONED I THOUGHT THAT THIS AUDIO BOOK IS VERY MUCH WORTH HAVING A LISTEN
