The crown of a story

Book 1 in the story. It’s a YA story full of action. The author will keep you entertained right till the end . This story will put you through a roller coaster , not knowing what you will listen to first , hope , treachery, wishful thinking.

Heroine is Myth. Hero is Prince Vesper.
Myth didn’t know she had the power to rule . One day she becomes queen of the land .
Both Myth and Prince Vesper have feelings for each other , but they are separated.
Grab it and see if the Ming and Queen find each other.
Matt performance was good . First time I heard him. His voice was clear and strong.

Was hoping for more

The story was okay but not to be remembered. I think the premise was good but the book itself didn’t do it enough justice.
The narrator was also okay (meaning he wasn’t annoying and such but didn’t change the story with his reading).
I know this is just part one of a series but I don’t think I’ll look into the next one.

Good Book.

I enjoyed the storyline and the characters. I would have liked if the story was longer I felt like it was a bit rushed.

Not bad

This is a YA romance, with fantasy and fairytale entwined. Myth is bullied at school she wants to end it all and wishes on the moon and then things change.
I enjoyed the storyline although it was very quick, there wasn’t much character development in this book but as it is the first of the series I am hoping they will develop more in the next book.
The only issue I had was the narrator seems kind of wooden, like he was just reading the book with no emotion, changes in voice when something happened. It would have been nice to add some emotion to it.
I will get the book and read it myself to see if my opinions change.

Four Hours Well Spent

This story is a rollercoaster! There's hope, betrayal, love, and a cliffhanger! It moves at a faster pace than I would have liked, but I was totally on the edge of my seat, needing to know what happens next! While the story is enjoyable, the narration sold it for me.

Audiobook Obsession

This went by a little too fast for me. I felt as those the characters weren’t developed enough and everything happened so fast. Maybe because this is probably geared towards younger readers. I would have liked it to be more.

I voluntarily received a courtesy copy of this audio book from AudiobookObsession and I am choosing to leave a review.

Dark paranormal story with cliffhanger

Matt Bolden is really good with varying this voices to represent multiple characters. There were some issues with the audio- For instance, chapter 7 sounded more distant than the prior chapters. Otherwise, I enjoyed his reading of the story.

Myth was bullied and suicidal. She was brought to Yearning, married Vesper, the prince, with the hope that she can save the kingdom. But who is the good guy and who is the bad guy? It ends in a cliffhanger and goes between the “real world” and the “alternative world”. It is a bit of a dark story. I preferred Mira Crest’s other books better, which felt more hopeful and beautiful.

Suspend reality

I struggled to finish this story, I'm not sure if it was the narrator or the story itself but I found I just couldn't get into the world. There was too much that didn't really work together in the world and I didn't like the main character, she was too weak and whiny at the beginning, thankfully she did grow as the story progressed. I think others may enjoy this story but it really wasn't for me.

"This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review."

I really enjoyed this book. It had a very different spin from the normal Fae books I have read and kept me listening. The narration was great also!!

Crowning Glory!

Myth is a mortal, that faces bullying on a daily bases. When contemplating committing suicide she is convinced to take a trip to a fae world where she meets Prince Vesper.

Every full moon Myth travels to the fae world but nothing is what it seems and the consequences are deadly for Myth and her friends.

I SOOOO enjoyed this story. I'm really bummed out that there are no follow up audio's on this story line yet. Hope it comes really soon!

Matt Bolden narrates this story and makes you empathize with the characters and cheer them on in their personal challenges..

Awesome

Totally enjoyed this story. Full of fun, danger, other worlds and other peoples. Myth is so realistic that you feel her hurt and cry with her when people are mean to her. You watch her grow, laugh, love and become the best she can be. Highly recommend.

Cute!!

This book was a cute Y/A fantasy. It starts off very strong but then for me, the events took place way too fast. From suicidal to accepting a Fae world where she’s the princess. I would have liked more of her story and who she was before all of this started.
That being said it was an intriguing storyline and great for the young adult and young at heart.
Narration wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. Part way through the book the quality of audio changes as if he’s narrating in a different studio.
