Summary

Maybe if she'd known that running for her life would have changed her life for the better, she would have done it sooner...

Riley

My momma always believed in fate, but I didn't believe until I met him. The sexy cowboy who'd found me hiding in his barn. A series of disastrous events led me to...him. He and his family took me in, protected me, and gave me the life I always wanted. But at what cost?

Blaze

I didn't expect to find the beautiful blonde in my barn that morning. Or the intense rage I'd feel after seeing her bruises. At that moment she became mine. Mine to take care of. Mine to spoil. Mine to protect from anyone who intended her harm. Anyone.

Come meet the small town of Rock Springs Texas with a family that has your back, a town that knows your business, and men who love with everything they have.

There is plenty of horses, nights under the stars, sweet tea, and a few road trips!.

Get ready for some hot texas nights!

Rock Springs Texas

Book: The Cowboy and His Runaway Author: Kaci Rose Narrator(s): Noelle Malkin Did the Audiobook meet your expectations? This book was great. This book deals with the subject of abuse from a few of the characters. Kaci has set up the characters to have each of their stories to be told in their own books. Did the narrator make it easy to follow the story? Did you find the narrator’s voice fitting for the main protagonists(s)? There was some background noise that could be heard so perhaps Noelle is a new narrator. Noelle was able to create different voices for each of the characters which made it easy to know who was speaking. Do you recommend this audiobook and will you pick up more? Yes this book is fantastic. I have noticed that there are more books written for this series but are currently not in audio. I will definitely be looking for these as I cannot wait to see what the others will find their happiness. I was gifted this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

shocking

I received this audiobook for free as a review copy. The story is shocking but also heartbreakingly sweet. We all know that there are abusive relationships, but as long as we are not directly involved we tend to forget... Even though there are people that reach out and offer help, leaving the situations does not necessarily mean that your nemesis will leave you alone. Coming from abusive relationships puts a lot of stress on your new partner, it´s hard to trust and demands lots of patience and understanding. Since I am a stickler for HEAs I liked that in the end erverything turned out well and the good people got their chance at love.

Book 1 with a HEA.

I really enjoyed this story. I fell in love with the characters I am excited to hear about them all in books to come. I feel like maybe this narrator is new. There was background noise and it didn’t sound like great quality equipment. However I thought she read well and I plan on listening to the next book in the series so she didn’t turn me off of the books. I recommend you try this book. 🎧Audiobook Obsession

book 1 in Rock Springs TX series

This is book 1 in Rose's Rock Springs Texas series. I really love the into to these amazing characters. Strong and broken you already get a sense of the couples the don't know what's keeping them from being together. This is Riley and Blaze's story and I just love Braze from the very beginning. His protectiveness comes across sweet rather than alpha and I love his selflessness when it comes to those he loves and protects. Well written romance with more sweet than stream but a couple of steamy scenes to be found. Narration was pretty good - there were a few foreign sounds I think I picked up on but nothing that really took away from the story. Storyline had good flow - maybe a bit fast paced but keeps your interest throughout. This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Great story!

What a great story! It’s a sweet story with the difficult subject of abuse. When Riley escapes violent Jed, she ends up at Blaze’s ranch. She’s welcomed into this warm, kind, loving family and Blaze shows her that real love can heal a lot, if not all. I loved the HEA and the epilogue. Narrating was okay. Noelle Malkin has a pleasant voice. I struggled in the beginning, but when I got to know each character, it was easier to know who was talking when. I could hear some background noises, didn’t like that.

Sweet

Sweet Sweet! I love this sweet and touching story. Blaze's family is amazing! They have each other's backs and don't mind helping those that need it. I enjoyed watching the fall between Riley and Blaze. And how well Blaze is with the kids. I enjoyed the narrator and how she was able to bring the story to life through audio. Great listen!
