H. P. Lovecraft
For the first time ever, the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society has produced an audio recording of all of Lovecraft's stories. These are not dramatizations like our Dark Adventure Radio Theatre - rather, this is an audiobook of the original stories, in all-new, never-before-heard recordings made by the HPLHS' own Andrew Leman and Sean Branney exclusively for this collection. Working from texts prepared by Lovecraft scholar S.T. Joshi, this collection spans his entire career from his earliest surviving works of childhood to stories completed shortly before his death. All tales include original music by HPLHS composer Troy Sterling Nies. This audio bonanza features 74 stories adding up to more than fifty (50!) hours of Lovecraftian listening fun, professionally performed and recorded for your enjoyment.

A complete work of almost any author's work will suffer from similar issues, namely inconsistent quality. I'll probably be harangued for this but some of Lovecraft's stories aren't very good so I think the best reason to spend 50+ hours listening to the complete works would be to gain a better understanding of his work and how it evolved, how he built up his mythos and created a world that is still hugely influential to this day. Adrew Leman and Sean Branney even state something to this effect in the prologue, which is why it is so strange that this audiobook is in no particular order.
With stories that Lovecraft wrote when he was a child randomly placed somewhere in the anthology without explanation; and instances of stories that reference other events that would leave a first time reader oblivious, as the relevant preceding story has been placed later on in the playlist. It is also a great shame that the people who produced this audiobook, the H. P. Lovecraft Historical Society, who are obviously very passionate and knowledgeable on this subject haven't given any context to any of these stories and don't explain why every story is 'text edited by S. T. Joshi' and what that means.
I found a simple and very rewarding fix for all of these issues: the H. P. Lovecraft Literary Podcast. It goes through all of his stories in sequential order and they discuss numerous aspects of each story such as historical and biographical aspects of HPL's life and how it influenced his work, as well as other works that influenced him. Andrew Leman and Sean Branney are even occasionally involved in this podcast so it's a perfect accompaniment. Listen to the podcast in sequential order and find the corresponding story in this audiobook and switch between the two, it's a bit of work but really rewarding. Hope this helps.
Excellent but with some flaws (easily fixed)

I wish they would do the same with his short stories and pseudonym/ghost writing stories which are not contained in this audiobook in a second volume.
I also would have wished that the audio/voice volume had been better limited, as the volume is not very evenly matched across stories or even across some of the chapters within stories. This would be easy to do and would make this audiobook even better.
The best Lovecraft audiobook collection.
