I think many people would find reading the actual book a little dry, but the dramatisation on this audiobook brought the story to life and I couldn't wait for my next free time to listen in.
The whole result was charming.

What made the experience of listening to The Complete Barchester Chronicles (Dramatisation) the most enjoyable?
Very fine reworking of Trollope, who was a bit of a division two Dickens, but nonetheless could knock out a good story which caught the ziegiest.Who was your favorite character and why?
Mr Slope - thoroughly self-serving and unpleasant and wonderfuly acted in this dramatization.Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

What did you like most about The Complete Barchester Chronicles (Dramatisation)?
These are a like series of mini plays which refer to a time gone by. Listened to when I was driving and was tired of listening to never ending chat/drivel. If you like afternoon dramas or plays you will like these.Visualisation of the characters was easy and I thoroughly enjoyed the them, the plot was intertwined and kept me listening

Anna Massey is a treasure lost and although it is obviously her, you get lost in the performance of the character. Anna Massey pulls it off again.Any additional comments?
