Summary
Nineteen-year-old Melody hates that her parents make her go everywhere with Liam, the Ramelian warrior who has become her personal bodyguard. She craves freedom, and when Liam informs Melody that her father has given him permission to take her as his mate, she decides it is time to make her escape. But the huge, handsome brute merely tosses her over his shoulder and brings her back home, then takes her over his knee and spanks her thoroughly.
Though over the following days Melody tries everything she can think of to drive Liam away, he assures her they share a powerful bond and responds to her repeated provocations with a firm hand applied to her bare bottom. Despite his stern punishments, when he holds her in his arms afterwards Melody cannot deny her body’s response to his skillful caresses and she begins to secretly yearn for his touch. Not quite an arranged marriage but pretty close. I enjoyed watching this couple progress and understand the meaning of having a true mate.

Fun imaginative story
Jack Calihan continues to bring Morganna Williams’ Ramelian Saga to life in book 2 The Commander’s Daughter. He has a voice I could listen to for hours, and I did as I finished this audio in one sitting. I think Morganna Williams did a great job pairing Melody and Liam her newly discovered submissive nature brought to life by Liam’s loving dominance. It was fun to see her parents (book 1) 20 years into their marriage still fiercely in love. I look forward to book 3 His Rebellious Mate.

A fun spirited romance
Liam has been Melody's bodyguard for years now, so it is the obvious choice for her mate. Melody has a different idea than her parents and escapes. This begins the fun, sassy side of Melody. Liam has no qualms about putting her over his knee. I loved the determination of melody, not to fall for Liam. But as each aftercare session ends, she falls harder and harder for him. Morgana Williams knows how to write about sassy women, and I have loved each one of them.
Jack Calihan is one of my favorite narrators. He has an easy to listen to voice. He brings every story he narrates to life and makes it more of a movie in my mind. Jack does not disappoint in this story as well. He narrates Liam perfectly. Liam is a strong, dominant male who will do anything to claim his mate. Jack Calihan brings that all out and makes Liam likeable. Mr. Calihan's narrated Izzy exactly as I imagined her and brought out all of her rebelious ways. This was a great listen.

Fantastic Listen
First I want to start by saying, I love Jack Calihan. He has a voice that makes you want to listen to every single word. Morganna Williams has a great imagination, captivating her audience from the first page. The romance is hot and off the charts. I really enjoyed listening to The Commander's Daughter and highly recommend it.

Let this audio command your happiness
This is a great SCI Fi fantasy story . The author wrote a story that will have you at the edge of your seat . It will have your juices running and your heart pounding .
Heroine is Melody. Hero is Liam
Melody feels like she’s in Jail. Her parents are very protective. Melody needs to break free . Liam knows how Melody feels and he knows what needs to be done . Liam tells Melody that she just became his mate , her father gave her to him . Will Melody finally get her wish for freedom. Grab it and find out .
Jacks performance was great . You can listen to him all day. His voice is smooth, clear and strong

Delicious, sexy, BDSM, goodness
Overall this was a delicious, steam filled, panty soaking, BDSM delight. There wasn't a ton of depth to the characters or storyline. At times I found some of the dialogue a little corny. The sexytimes totally made up for all of that!! Dirty and delightful, there is plenty of steam!!
The narrator left me wanting more. His performance just lacked that little bit of energy that can really bring a story to life. It's such a shame because his voice was perfect for that deep, sexy alpha male tone. He just needs to exude a little more power and confidence in his performance.

Fabulous follow up to the first book!
Another great story in the series! This is the second book of the series and it is a great book. The author has a wonderful imagination when it comes to telling a story. I definitely enjoyed listening to this book. The narrator does a great job with the characters and the voices of each character. I definitely recommend this book!
