Summary

Eighteen years ago a teenage pregnancy changed Kate Worthington's life forever. Faced with many difficult decisions, she chose to follow her heart and embrace an uncertain future with Glenn Ferguson, her devoted first love...and the father of her baby.

At the same time, in another part of the world, 16-year-old Ryan Hamilton makes his own share of mistakes, but learns important lessons along the way.

Soon Kate's and Ryan's paths cross in a way they never expected, which makes them question the existence of destiny. Even when all seems hopeless, is it possible that everything happens for a reason, and do we end up exactly where we are meant to be?

Book Two in the Color of Heaven series.

This is the story of Kate Worthington and Ryan Hamilton. Kate deals with a teen pregnancy, while Ryan in involved in a teen drunk driving accident. Both later become successful in their field of choice and learn from their mistakes.

Inspirational?

I searched for an inspirational Audible and this came up. The plot began with promise and even though there was a great deal of time spent in the teenage world with information, I continued. Most information was not needed to move the plot, but the book promised a great twist. Then death. New characters...death. New characters death. But still there’s a promise of this amazing twist and there wasn’t.

But I could handle all of that, for lessons of faith, for lessons in overcoming, for a love that reaches from Heaven. But this book doesn’t give even a vague hope of something more than a cosmic wish. If you think inspirational means al lot of people die and then there’s a happy ending, then you’ll like this book. If you believe Destiny is designed by the Creator, love is a product of God’s Grace you’ll be disappointed. There needs to be a
dewy decimals system that classify books better.

It was ok

Not as good as her previous book I listen to. The story wrapped up nice, but for the first half of the book it seemed like a teen novel. narrator is awesome.

Wow!

Oh my! I have to say I have another favorite author! I just discovered Ms MacLean a couple of books ago, and I’m so glad I did. She is a phenomenal story-writer! The way she weaves the stories around full-circle, leaking everything together….not leaving anything out, or not completed!
And, all the narrators were awesome! So many authors have narrators that totally turn me against the book even before I get started listening….then I don’t even want to attempt to read the book either.
I’ll definitely purchase more books by Ms MacLean and look for these narrators also.

Good, but not as good as the first book.

It was good enough to intrigue me to listen to book three but it was nowhere as good as the first book.
