Summary

Let the voyages begin!

Colonel Jason Azoros is having a bad year. Having taken over the Argonauts’ mercenary company when its previous owner was killed, he has arrived back at Karma to find that no one will deal with him. Blacklisted by his father, Jason is forced to do a job for him to clear his name.

The early days of humanity’s expansion into space was an exciting time, as the best of the race went to the stars. Unfortunately, some of the worst went, as well, and the Argonauts must hunt down and destroy the worst of the worst, Colchis Industries.

Colchis has powerful friends, though, and its coffers are overflowing with credits, allowing it to hire mercenaries and buy equipment beyond what the Argonauts can afford. They also meddle in genetics, and their creations range from...interesting...to unstoppable.

Outmanned and outgunned, Jason and his crew embark on their voyage short on equipment but long on attitude. One thing is for sure - win, lose, or draw, they’re going to go out in style!

Not like the others

This was my third 4 Horsemen book. I liked the first two a lot. This one is trash. Unrealistic and facile characters. Lazy plot. And rampant misogyny, far beyond the usual military sci-fi stuff that you can justify as simply embracing traditional ideas of masculinity. Don’t bother with this one.

worth it

he is a great story teller but the entire series so far leaves so many open plots it leaves me frustrated. each book has been it's own story no continuation or full fill meant of a story line.

Jason and the Argonauts Retold

This is an interesting modification of the classic Jason and the Argonauts tale from Greek mythology. I always enjoy the hero’s journey, and the author understands those of us who seek such stories. Thank You.

Story was alright, but the narrator needs a few lessons on pronunciation

This is the third “Four Horsemen Universe” Audiobooks I’ve read in as many weeks, and this one was an absolute disappointment. The story was average, but the Narrator confused Lead, the metal, with lead, such as a lead on an investigation, on more than one occasion.

Apart from that issue and his pronunciation of words, I would recommend the book to fans of Military Sci-Fi.
