This was just an amazing listen - I just stopped everything and listened to it as I wanted to know how the beginning would resolve (that was great) The characters were fun, yes it was completely over the top and unbelievable but that is the fun of listening and escaping to a book. The kids were so cute and funny.
The additional short story really worked and I enjoyed that as well.
The extract about the author was really moving re the profits being donated for research.
The narration worked really well.

Brilliant narration from Annalee Scott, and Danny Montooth, who bring out the humour, mystery, twists and turns.

Marilyn and Misty go to at night club Angels and Demons were you can decide which side of the club you want to go to . When Marilyn leaves Misty for a little bit and that is when Misty meets a sexy man called Roland. Unknown to them their friends Marilyn and Scratch wanted to set them up. Misty and Roland immediately hit it off. Roland is a psychiatrist, and Misty plans weddings. Sir Napoleon Pumpernickel, Roland's cat, despises everyone, making Misty is determined to win his affection. Ronald and Misty soon realise how much they have in common, having been raised by single mothers as both their fathers had died.
This is a romance with hidden family past traumas that lead them into unexpected twists and turns, bringing us to a shocking champagne toast.

When Marilyn and Scratch arrange for their best friends to meet, There is an instant connection between the two. Misty and Roland where both brought up by single mothers and have big secrets in their family history witch come to light because of their meeting. This is a well thought out story with engaging characters and plot full of twists and turns. I loved this story. Annalee Scott, Danny Montooth narration is excellent.

When is a toast not a toast... when it leads to murder. This third book in the Opulence series from Leah Orr is edge of the seat listening, the usual mix of quirky and likeable characters once again meet at the Opulence Hotel and get involved in murder and mystery. Well written and fast paced, all assisted by Annalee Scotts narration, I thought the addition of Danny Montooth sharing the narration reading the male parts was a great move in the production. Highly Recommended listen.
