Not my favourite but still very enjoyable

I love Sophie Anderson's books from this loosely connected series. I can warmly recommend them all - though this one was sadly my least favourite so far. Something was missing for me, though it's hard to put my finger on what exactly. Might just be that I'm not a big fan of plots revolving around saving a magical land, we've seen that so often now it's become slightly tiresome. Still, I very much enjoyed the characters and the fable-like feel to it all.

AMAZING!

I loved this book I’m 11 , this book is about a 13 year old girl who goes on a magical adventure. It is a bit confusing because of all the Russian names but once I gos used to it I loved the story and all the characters. I would really recommend this book

great performance but the story...

This book felt so rushed but at the same time so slow if that makes sense. It is as if the author rushed the interesting parts and dragged the same ones over and over again. I honestly felt like I was listening to the last 10 chapters for a decade because of how bad it dragged. Olia started as a sweet girl, but ended up so annoying by how much she hesitates with EVERYTHING. Do not recommend it.
