About this listen
From award-winning and Amazon charts bestselling author Monica Arya comes the much-anticipated sequel of The Favorite Girl.
Welcome to Ivory Island where all of your deepest and darkest desires can come true…
In life, it's always the goal to be the most loved, respected, and adored. The favorite, if you will. However, Demi Rao has realized that being the favorite isn't always a dream come true. Being the favorite can be your worst nightmare. After barely escaping, Demi finds herself at the gorgeous, one-of-a-kind, exclusive resort run by her former psychopath boss, Dr. Ivory's younger brother.
As she begins her new job, she knows that the ocean views and amenities are all a façade. The resort has an all-inclusive experience not limited to food and drinks but rather a sick and twisted way to fulfill everyone's wildest dreams and fantasies without judgment. Couples are carefully selected and invited, some go missing, and others are found tied up…
Demi can't live with herself if she doesn't find a way to end the Ivory family once and for all. The only problem is she may go from the favorite girl to the caged girl if she's caught.
And once you're in the gilded cage, you'll never get out.

I do not want to question what the hell is going on in Monica's brain because it should be trauma... hopefully... all I was hoping was that sick bastard's will not get sick ideas.
I loved Favourite girl because it was unusual but this... It feels that it's produced to shock you 😭 and it's doing the job at the same time by end of book you just taking it as "oh well" it didn't feel shocking anymore. what I felt was unfair was, at the beginning there is so much horrors described in detail but at the end where you could feel some sort of satisfaction of revenge things were just touched on the surface... kind of felt unfair. anywho it's a good but so sad story.
do not listen before reading trigger warnings!

Lacks depth and character development. Felt very extreme for the sake of it
