Story
Beauty Cookson is no beauty. She's a plain, timid girl who constantly feels inferior to the super-confident, snooty girls at school. Worse than the teasing in the playground, though, is the unpredictable, hurtful criticism from her father. Beauty and her meek, sweet mother live in uneasy fear of his fierce rages, sparked whenever they break one of his fussy house rules.

The only thing that's going right is her school project. It's all about whales and how they sing out to each other to attract a mate – sometimes for hours. Rose Rivers lives in a beautiful house with her artist father, her difficult, fragile mother and her many siblings. She has everything money can buy - beautiful dresses, horse-riding lessons, books - but she’s not satisfied. Why can’t she be sent away to a good school like her twin brother? Why can’t she learn to become a famous artist like her father or his friend Paris Walker? Why is life so unfair for people who were not born rich?

Great book for my 7 year old
- By Mrs Sarah Preston on 20-11-17
Summary
Tina is a triplet, but she's always been the odd one out. Her sisters, Phil and Maddie, are bigger and stronger and better at just about everything. Luckily they look after teeny-tiny Tina wherever they go--but when the girls start in scary, super-strict Miss Lovejoy's class, they're split up, and Tina has to fend for herself for the first time.
Tina is horrified when she's paired up with angry bully Selma, with whom nobody wants to be friends. But when Miss Lovejoy asks them to help her create a butterfly garden in the school playground, Tina discovers she doesn't always need her sisters--and that there's a lot more to Selma than first meets the eye.

Good
Good book and audiobook. I am 16, but I am still an avid Jacqueline Wilson fan. when this came out I obviously had to get it. despite the target age group of this book, I still found myself wanting to read to the end. It was a lovely story.very realistic for that age, and the narrator was good.also, I like the way Wilson introduces cast characters into her stories. What character or characters is it? Your have to listen to find out. whahahahaha.

Butterfly!!!!!!
I found this, and along with rent a bridesmaid, and every other Jacquline Wilson book, when audiobook put on weird music,I was baffled.
Tina is a triplet.
One day,Phil and Maddie have a surprise-they are having a after school party and have gifts!
Along with many others surprises, this is a wonderful day.
But at the end of the day, they have a final surprise in store-(a horrid one)they are moving all the way to Scotland, where Miss Lovejoy lives!
They were best friends until that.
Maddie explains they are moving school because there was a terrible family tragedy. That caused a series of tragic events.
Tina is left alone.
She writes to Phil and calls Maddie.
But the story is set just before the death butterflies come and start a war,in 2019,
And all sorts of weird and amazing, sad and funny, scary, worrying and dreadful, surprising and exciting things are going to happen to Tina (and her sisters). Now I can’t tell you what, you have to listen
To the audiobook to find out.
