The Burglars' Club is the most exclusive of exclusive Gentleman's Clubs in Victorian London. To pay their dues, members must steal something very valuable and hard to get, and present it to the club at the following meeting (They return it afterwards, of course, if possible). Full of comedy, suspense, and mystery. The award winning Colonial Radio Theatre on the Air brings these wonderful stories to life with a full cast, music score, and sound effects.

A hoot! Very enjoyable!
I loved these stories! A little mix of adventure, misadventure, humor, wit and happy endings!
Looking forward to the rest of the series!

Another Colonial Radio success!
The Burglars' Club is an unique and clever entry into the Colonial Radio Players collection. Not a comedy, not a drama; but, chock full of laughs and tension. Not really suspense nor horror; but, quite a few moments that will leave you scared and surprised. The stories contain mystery, adventure and whimsy. The writing seamlessly mixes gun play with moonlight dancing, witty verbal jousting matches with evil mad scientists. Never boring, the four tales each cover different plot territory, with the binding thread being membership within The Burglars Club. The club is populated by dashing rogues that steal and lie, while still maintaining their sense of honor, chivalry and charity. These stories are about gentlemen being gentlemen, and ladies being ladies of the Victorian times. Their mannerisms and characteristics are a welcome change from what passes for heroes today. I recommend this product highly, and personally am looking forward to purchasing the rest.

disappointed
I was expecting a great tale of adventure and was very disappointed. The last tale was better than the rest. Other than that, was quite boring and they did not tie up a lot of loose ends.
