This is not at all what I was expecting but it was amazing. Narration was great and the story even better I was totally absorbed in it and finished in two days

messy and complicated people captured with love and joy. you can only write grief if you've experienced it. as someone who lost my mother too soon this felt entirely accurate. wonderful - I cried aloud at the end. what a beautiful story.

I had high hopes for this one. It was ok, I listened all the way through. I think the first half was better than the second. The narrator’s were not for me (first 2 were good). Felt a little forced in trying to make certain sentences and moments seem grander and more meaningful than they were. I feel like this was more a YA book (maybe why I felt the writing was a little juvenile). Not to say I didn’t enjoy it at all, just didn’t live up to what I expected and how it first began.
