Joseph Morgan reading this was perfect. He has the perfect voice for gothic and dark fairy tales. Very Klaus vibes in this tale. I hope he writes more books. loved every minute.

Bravo Joseph Morgan a brilliantly narrated dark fairytale full of suspense. You had me gripped. The tone, pace and descriptive narration allowed me to immerse myself in the world you conjured. I felt as if I was there witnessing the events. I hope you make a sequel as I would love to know what happens to Jacob and his sister.

A dark fairytale full of gripping suspense.

A dark fairytale full of rich descriptive detail. A great listen and brilliantly read. It's always good when authors read their own work, and in this case with this genre it works particularly well. Look forward to more. Also love the slight Welsh accent... makes me feel at home!

Great short story and brilliantly read.

Brilliantly penned short story. Highly engaging from start to finish. I felt completely immersed in the story as the author describes each scene. Reminded me of a Walter de la Mare poem The Listeners. Beautifully and harrowingly descriptive. Eloquent prose delivered perfectly by the author/narrator. Loved it. Looking forward to the next book.

Harrowingly Beautiful
