About this listen

Jason Bourne pulls a drowning man from a lake - a man not only freezing, but bleeding profusely from a gunshot wound. He wakes as an amnesiac, with no memory of who he is or why he was shot...an eerie reminder of Bourne's own past.

Meanwhile, Mossad agent Rebekah is so determined to find this man that she's gone off the grid, cut her ties to her agency and risks a summary execution if caught by her former colleagues. And back in the US, a new agent has been recruited - but does he have a secret mission of his own?

Everything turns on the mysterious amnesiac. Will Bourne learn his identity or will other, powerful forces get to him first?

The acting is awful . The variation of voices tones is blurred. The soft whispering voice is maintained to the point that kill the action and bring peace and sleepiness which I doubt was what the author intended. Not expecting this experience after I enjoined so much the previous book in the series. It sounds like the reader is recording while is trying to keep the noises to a minimum 😝.

The always on soft voice of the reader is a deal breaker

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

A newcomer to Ludlum

What was most disappointing about Robert Ludlum and Eric Van Lustbader ’s story?

I've read all Ludlums previous and this is not a patch on them.

What three words best describe Holter Graham’s voice?

Enthralling

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Bourne Imperative?

Most needed more humanistic traits, seemed automated.

Any additional comments?

Don't buy if your a Ludlum enthusiast.

Not remotely "Ludlumesque".
