Couldn’t recommend this series enough. One of the first written reviews I’ve left on Audible. Kevin Pierce is a master narrator, and Horton writes these characters in such a genuine and honest way. A master at his craft.

With no spoilers, the last chapter was an absolute gut punch. Written so well, so full of emotion and care.

Ok I understand events in the book would leave the USA struggling to deal with immediate aftermath, but it's not an island, Canada, south America and Europe at the very least would be sending aid as fast as possible. Book 6 drifting from a plausible reality. Power might help people but would not feed them, heading into QAnon stupidity.
