Libby Tebbit had absolutely had her fill of big-city life.

Another great story from J C Williams.,
Really enjoyed the story and characters, especially the story within, by means of her grandfather's journal.
Also the narration was spot on, very pleasant to listen to

Ok, so I went into this book assuming that it was going to be a typical romance novel. Turns out, I was wrong! There is romance in there, of course, but it was mainly a beautifully written story of a woman’s struggle to keep her bookshop open in the beautiful seaside town of Peel on the Isle of Mann.

The dynamic between the main character and her best friend was hilarious, and I looooved the flashback storyline of the grandparents and how they came to open the shop!

Now, I’ve been to Peel, and there were definitely no palm trees there so not sure what went on with the front cover design of this book 😆
