Summary

Imagine if you discovered a treasure chest in which were hidden ancient mysteries, revelations from heaven, secrets of the ages, the answers to man's most enduring, age-old questions, and the hidden keys that can transform your life to joy, success, and blessing. This is The Book of Mysteries.

Jonathan Cahn, who caused a national and international stir with the New York Times best-seller The Harbinger and then The Mystery of the Shemitah, now brings us a treasure chest inside of which are contained some of the greatest mysteries of all time. The listener will discover life-transforming secrets, mind-blowing realities, and heart-changing revelations in such mysteries as the Face in the Waters, the Leper King, the Land of Gezarah, the Secret of the Third Prince, the House of Spirits, the Mystery of the Rains, How to Alter Your Past, the Second Scroll, the Similitude, the Mystery of the Eighth Day, and much more. The Book of Mysteries takes the listeners on a journey of divine revelation through ancient Scriptures, the laws of creation, the deep of God's word, the hidden streams of history, the most important keys of spiritual truth, end-time mysteries, and the secrets of life.

The Book of Mysteries opens up with a traveler and his encounter with a man known only as "the teacher". The teacher takes him an on odyssey through desert mountains, valleys, gardens, and plains, encounters with nomadic tent dwellers, caverns and ancient ruins, chambers of scrolls and vessels, and more. The listener is taken along to partake in the journey and in all the teachings and revelations. The traveler keeps a journal in which he writes down each of the mysteries given to him by the teacher in his one-year odyssey - 365 different mysteries - one for each day of the year. Thus, on top of everything else, The Book of Mysteries is also a daily devotional unlike any other. And each mystery contains a special mission for each day of the year, a mission that takes the revelation and applies it to reality for a life-changing journey.

A Book For Now, Not Tomorrow

If you ever wanted to learn about God, whether a believer or not, this book speaks of profound truths that talk to your innermost being , your soul. Without judgement, but clarification from an intellectual view from the sources and of all sources, The Greek Bible with Hebrew language that makes the translation of our English version so much in need for further explanation and interpretation to realize the full meaning of the Scripture. It explains the WHOLE of Jesus' from beginning to ever after. It speaks to one who has little spiritual knowledge to those who have spent a lifetime of research and on the subject. It makes the telling available to all on any level. I will read many times, as there is so much. The only word I would use to pass along how I felt through the teachings, was I AM LOVED, yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Breathtaking

From the start, this narration gripped my attention and never let go. I was there. I was in the moment as if taken back in time and hearing a disciple from the past explain the mysteries of EVERYTHING !

Very deep

Would you listen to The Book of Mysteries again? Why?

I certainly will.

What other book might you compare The Book of Mysteries to and why?

It is a very unique book. Nothing else comes to mind right now. Even though it is not what I expected, it was a very nice surprise.

Have you listened to any of Steve Hart’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, I have not listened to any of Steve Hart's performances besides this one. At least I don't remember. However, I really like his rendition. He is very good.

If you could rename The Book of Mysteries, what would you call it?

Extraordinary wisdom for the journey of life.

Any additional comments?

I recommend this book very highly. It is helping me a great deal. It is like a vitamin boost to my faith. Also, there is a lot of symbolism, history and other great wisdom here; obviously, the writer put a lot of research into it. It is what I needed.

None that I have read.

Have you listened to any of Steve Hart’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I have not

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, Yes, Yes. I had to force myself to stop each day!

Any additional comments?

I can only say that the mystries are so profoundly put, that this could only have come from God! The scope leaves me awe struck! Well done Mr Cahn!

What an eye opener!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Book of Mysteries to be better than the print version?

I did't read the print version. I prefer audio version when it's available.

What other book might you compare The Book of Mysteries to and why?

The Mystery of the Shemitah and The Harbinger because the are of the same subjects.

Any additional comments?

This book taught me so many things about our God and his plan for us! It literally changed the way I think about everything in my life and all of us!

2nd greatest book I have ever listened to...

I have always said that Jewish Christians are the best Bible teachers. Jonathan Cahn is a Messianic Rabbi and He does a fantastic job of explaining what the Bible really means by correctly translating Hebrew words from the King James bible. I am getting ready to listen to it again.
