Summary

The Book of Exodus is the bedrock of God's plan of redemption and is seen as a "type" of the early church. It is also an adventure of discovery, since the dramatic narrative is laced with numerous hidden messages in the form of microcodes and macrocodes, each anticipating the New Testament climax.

Examination of Exodus Like You’ve Never Heard It!

This commentary on Exodus clearly proved to me that no Bible-themed book or movie (“The Ten Commandments” or other recent titles not worth mentioning) can EVER replace what was written or what actually took place in the Bible. It's like attempting to paint a house with a nail brush. It’s simply not possible for a movie to recreate the biblical environment, the vast amount of supernatural miracles and so many other amazing, spiritual occurrences that ONLY the Bible is able to masterfully achieve. And this point really hits home when you have someone like Dr. Missler at the helm expertly explaining the book of Exodus to you. As he narrates and carefully scrutinizes each chapter, you really do come away astonished with the scale and scope of the Bible and appreciate it on an entirely different level! This is the 3rd Bible commentary I’ve completed from Chuck Missler and I continue to be thoroughly impressed with his unbelievable passion and the vast knowledge he has of the Bible. Sure, I love reading along with Chuck as he reads each verse in my KJ Bible, but what you'll really respect about him is just how devoted of a student he really is! I have to continually hit the 30 second rewind button because he says such profound things that I don't expect and I have to hear it again to let the words really sink in. (He also talks really fast..lol) Time and again, you’ll see that Dr. Missler’s style of teaching is integrating many Bible books together cohesively when discussing a single chapter or verse. So it’s not just an analysis of Exodus you’re getting here, but how Exodus relates to the rest of the Bible. As Chuck has stated many times, everything in the Bible is not by accident, but instead, it is by deliberate design by the Holy Spirit. I love hearing this because it makes me hungry to read the Bible every day and understand everything about it. Bravo Dr. Missler!

Great as usual!

Although this recording was done about 40 years ago the Word is still as fresh as if it was done today. Will miss you for now Uncle Chuck, but will see you again in Heaven.

Serious Study- Audio is Bad

Starting in the 44th minute, and lasting the whole remainder of session 1, the audio goes bad.

But, as always, an excellent, in depth study of God's word. Chuck Missler was an intelligent, relatable teacher, including writing and narration.

Thorough

another well in depth study by Chuck. Very appreciated for us who find the bulk of Exodus boring and tedious

Sights You’ve Never Imagined!

Chuck Missler lays out the foreshadowing of Moses as a forerunner of Christ. Very intriguing, wise, and at intervals funny. Chuck has so many references from Scripture to back up his statements, it will make the reader want to research more and dig deeper in the Word to better know the coming Christ - King of Kings - Lord of Lords.

Good commentary

Especially liked the 75 likeness between JC and Moses. The description of the tabernacle and its symbolism was helpful too.

Great Scriptural Teacher!!!

Mr. Chuck Missler was a truly gifted Bible teacher. I understand more about the meaning and depth of Moses’ life than I thought possible. He ends with a comparison between the lives of Moses and Jesus summarized in the last lesson. It is very thought provoking and I know I will be meditating on it for a while with the pleasure of profound insights.

Wonderful insights !

the narrator is not reading the text , it rather seems like a recording of a bible study presented by the author - this makes it wonderfully easy to listen to, the author is intelligent , witty and truly loves our Lord. His information is also correct and factual, presented in ways I had not thought of before - very informative - I will proceed to purchase every book of his available on Audible. Thank you for an awesome experience.
