Charming and Captivating
If you could sum up The Book Lovers in three words, what would they be?
Light, Feel-good, Easy-listening
What does Jan Cramer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
She was the sort of narrator that you know is good because you don't really notice them while you're listening.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Absolutely, I would listen in the car driving backwards and forwards to work and would often wish I could stay sitting in the car all day to hear the next bit!

Good story
I enjoyed this book, the troubles, the characters and the journey they go on.
There was lots of "he said" and "she said" to describe the dialogue, that got quite tiresome. Maybe reading it would have been a obvious.
The performance of the narrator d good reading the book, a lovely, soft, eloquent voice. Reading the dialogue though she gave emphasis that I didn't enjoy as much.

Almost perfect
I thoroughly enjoyed this story about a young author. Loved the readers voice. Enjoyed the setting of an English village and the nature observations. Only annoying thing was the constant “Cali said, Sam said.” Altogether too many “He said, she said.” Still a great listen though.

Dull & Boring
I normally will listen to a book all the way through whether I like it or not. but I just couldn't make myself finish this one. I was so bored & the characters are so dull. It's as if it were being read in slow motion.
