Mysterious, magical, and a little bit deadly… Welcome to Unholy Island.

Luke Taylor was searching for his missing twin brother when he discovered a new purpose on a magical tidal island. Living in a quirky bookshop is a dream come true—he just didn’t expect it to be so damn dangerous.

Running a business on a tiny island was always going to bring challenges, but Luke didn’t bargain on strange customers, hexed books, or a sentient shop that seems to have its own ideas about how things ought to be done.

Not to mention his deepening feelings for the island’s resident witch...Esme Gray became the island’s Ward Witch seven years ago and has built a life of safety and quiet for herself. A balm for her abusive past.

Her feelings for the new Book Keeper have disturbed those calm waters, and when his life is threatened, she doesn’t hesitate to dive in to help. But is she strong enough to pull them both out alive?

The Book Keeper is the second book in the Unholy Island series. Drift away with this Cosy Fantasy today!

*The Unholy Island series is set in the same world as the urban fantasy mystery books, Crow Investigations, but it can be enjoyed independently.

The story is interesting and the characters continue to expand and grow. Great second book

Deeper exploration of characters

After speeding through the first book I was expecting great things from this one and it did not disappoint, the style of writing really draws you into the world and you feel like you are getting to know them at the same time as they get to know one another. The narrator does such a wonderful job and so well suited to the feel of the book.
Away to start book three and hoping Sarah bring out more related material…..but I still have the crow investigations to keep me going can’t wait to start them.

Fallen in love with trilogy

Sarah has such a way with her characters that draws you in and makes you want to know everything about them. This, coupled with another great story makes an interesting tale that builds at an unhurried pace peppered with the characters we have already grown to love. Can't wait for the next one!

Another fantastic trip to Unholy Island.

It's always a gamble with Book 2, will it keep the momentum built up in the first story - or will it fall flat? I'm happy to report that this continuation of the Unholy Island saga does not disappoint.
The characters first limned out in book one are gaining flesh and form; what were mere hints of back stories are being explored more fully, whilst we learn more about the mysteries of Unholy Island itself.
Trouble comes to the community in the form of a stunningly beautiful woman, but is she all that she seems . . . And why, (and how), does she keep coming back?
I'm looking forward to Book 3 - there's more to be told, and there's also a favour being claimed from the Crow Family - but how will that go?

Great Follow-Up Story

A book that feels like a warm blanket, easy to listen to and enjoyable. Fully invested in the islands inhabitants now :)
