Hilarious

I have to say that this is one of the funniest books I’ve read in a long time.
I’d say that if you like The Princess Bride, then this book is for you.

Love this series

Really worth reading/listening to. Enough so that I’ve bought the kindle and audio editions. And listened to multiple times. Original. Funny. Light. Long. Fantastic use of a credit.

Totally Different in a very good way

it's... not a parody, and almost not even a novel. more a collection of short stories that just flow into each other? A heck of a ride all the way through, even if the modern speech patterns are hard to swallow at first. Definitely worth your time if you want something new and different from fantasy.

Bizarre but fun.

This is one of the strangest stories I’ve ever read, basically if someone decided to write a crack fanfic of a fantasy story and turn it into a novel. That said I was laughing often enough that it doesn’t feel right to give this anything but a high rating.

aka, "How to Train Your Human"

Would you listen to The Blue Mage Raised by Dragons again? Why?

While not deep by any means, it was entertaining and enjoyable. Unfortunate title, however.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Blue Mage Raised by Dragons?

I enjoyed the first part of the book where the human boy was being taught to hunt by a dragon, but did something that a five year old would very much do.

Which character – as performed by Mare Trevathan – was your favorite?

Probably the demon princess. I enjoyed the tension between her desires and her parent's expectations.

Who was the most memorable character of The Blue Mage Raised by Dragons and why?

The titular character was probably the most memorable. He honestly sounds like something out out myth with how outlandish his actions are and the reasons he sought to do them.

Any additional comments?

A rather enjoyable book, really. Not a deep read, but I laughed and was actually surprised a few times.

I do feel bad for that flying eyeball creature and what was done to him. Ow.
