Hilarious

I have to say that this is one of the funniest books I’ve read in a long time.
I’d say that if you like The Princess Bride, then this book is for you.

Totally Different in a very good way

it's... not a parody, and almost not even a novel. more a collection of short stories that just flow into each other? A heck of a ride all the way through, even if the modern speech patterns are hard to swallow at first. Definitely worth your time if you want something new and different from fantasy.

It is amazing

The combination of the writing and the narator made me feel I was going on am adventure. Also the amount of looks I got while listening because I just started laughing out of nowhere. Priceless.

Cannot wait for the next book.

I loved the hilarious antics of the characters and the story. I had several moments of bursting out laughing at work, sadly, however that just shows how much I loved listening to it.

One Of The BEST!

I work at a job where I’m by myself for hours on end so I found my self listening to a lot of audiobooks while working. I’ve listened to quite a lot of fantasy and very dramatic not a hint of comedy. I decided to give this book a listen after I found myself needing a break from all the drama. This book is simply AMAZING! Something new and I promise I’ll be following this author very closely and reading all of the books they have! I love the characters so fresh and freaking hilarious! I found myself laughing extremely hard most of the book! The skeletons are JUST THE BEST!! NO BUTTS ABOUT IT!

an unexpected joy

I got this book on a whim. but I have no regrets. it's an interesting take on the world of fantasy and the interactions of the denizens of those world's.

well paced with interested developements and plenty of world shaking tantrums. I laughed so hard at parts I was crying.

A Fun Series of Humorous Adventures!

The Blue Mage Raised by Dragons is less a story with a beginning, middle and end and more a series of stories that amount to one of the most hilarious coming of age stories I've ever read. The characters, and I mean all the characters, are written in such a way as to keep the audience laughing from start to finish. The book can be more slice of life comedy than action adventure most of the time. Though every once in awhile there are some interesting fights. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a comedy spoof of typical fantasy adventure novels.

Most enjoyable title in a while

I put off purchasing this title for a while but I am very happy I finally got it. The performance was fantastic and the story was captivating and fun. The book has a more casual feel but I couldn't bring myself to willingly put it down. I greatly wish for this new author to continue the series and their writing career and look forward to future reads and listens.
