The princesses’ youth and innocence, along with Lady Charlotte’s inner fire, leave them susceptible to the malevolent forces of a very beautiful, yet powerfully wicked and cunning baroness. As the princesses face the forces of evil they are secretly protected by a mythical sisterhood of courageous and talented women and possibly even a silver angel.

The Blue Series is filled with kings and queens, knights and debutantes, brigands and bandits, young men and women coming of age along with a unique host of very special animals and creatures.

Originally written as a fairy tale to be read aloud to children at bedtime, the stories evolved into a series of books even adults will enjoy. Listening as a group or alone, The Blue Awakening along with the rest of the Blue Series are great fun for those of all ages.

Author’s notation: Periodically the realities of being in a combat zone unexpectedly shattered my imaginary world and thrust me back into the ever present dangers of Iraq. Notations of rocket attacks and other such interruptions are inserted exactly where they occurred while writing this story.
