Summary

They had found paradise. What would they do to keep it? With a quick spin of the globe, Kitty and Lana escape their grey reality and journey to the Philippines. There they discover The Blue - a beautiful yacht with a wandering crew.

They spend day after languorous day exploring the pristine, white beaches and swimming beneath the stars, and Lana drifts further away from the long-buried secrets of home. But the tide turns when death creeps quietly on deck.

A dangerous swell of mistrust and lies threatens to bring the crew's adventures to an end - but some won't let paradise go...whatever the price.

Critic reviews

"Kept me guessing, and wanderlusting, all the way through...the ultimate holiday read" (Emylia Hall)
"An immensely engaging and enjoyable novel which became increasingly compelling as I read on, building tension and throwing up unexpected twists and turns right to the very last page. A perfect summer read!" (Susan Elliot Wright)

Good lightweight holiday listen

This is a bit silly but overall I enjoyed the voyage on the Blue. I wasn’t looking for anything challenging so it fitted the bill. It kept my attention and I was engaged by the characters. It was well read too.

An audible page turner

Well narrated by Scarlett Mack, this tale is one of mystery and suspense that kept me awake through intrigue. Perhaps the previous reviewer doesn’t like a Scottish accent, as Mack’s diction is clear and easily understood. I personally find it refreshing to hear. The story itself moves back and forth between two main timelines, undulating on the waves of a nautical tale as told by the main protagonist. Don’t expect to fall in love with any of the characters, but instead be attracted to their alternative lifestyle on board The Blue and how they ended up in the situation they did. A decent listen.

poor narration

sadly the poor narration caused me to return this book. the narrators speech was not clear, words sounded like they were running into each other.
