I expected more to be honest. Love this series, and this book answered some questions, had wonderful exciting spins, but alienated me from Kip. I’m just not invested in him anymore and feel like I wouldn’t have missed much if I just skipped his story in this book entirely.

First of all Simon Vance did another great job!

I was really looking forward to this book and have thoroughly enjoyed it. The growth of Kip and Tysis throughout this book were great and goes without saying the mighty getting to use their training and becoming more than it was awesome.

The only reason it wasn't a 5-star review was that the lack of progression for other characters in the story and was left wondering how Gunner got the blade back.
