Summary

Moving to Hollywood after graduation was supposed to be my first step into the adult world, a chance for me to live life on my terms. It'd worked for my older sister. I just hadn't realized how much until she shared her darkest secret with me.

When 21-year-old Hanna Breckenridge moves across the country to take a job as her sister's business manager, she has no idea the culture shock she's in for. When billionaire Cross Phillips approaches her, she's flattered, only to find out that he'd been interested for reasons far different than anything Hanna would've imagined. When things take a dangerous turn, she's forced to decide just how much she can trust this gorgeous man.

Don't miss the steamy standalone The Billionaire's Sub by USA Today's best-selling author, MS Parker.

Not believable

Let me start by saying that I really do enjoy this author but clearly this us not her best work. I mean who goes off for a sex marathon while their sister is missing? And the narration was sub par at best.

M.S. Parker needs to stick to writing.

She foes not know how to change her voice from male to female.it sounded like she was just reading from the book. I put the speed to 2 just to get thru since I paid for the audio. I will not purchase any more of M. S. Parkersburg audio books if she is the narrator.

Narrator is stiff.

narrator is very stiff. the story does not flow easy with the stiff and choppy reading. I had to stop listening often just to get a break. will have to switch to kindle.

That voice! No can do.

I have no idea whether this is a good story because I can't stand listening to the author/narrator read the thing. Her voice is high pitched and somewhat monotone and her halting style is distracting. Ms Parker should bite the bullet and hire a real narrator.

Narration Nightmare

Couldn't listen to this. I put up with a lot of annoying voice actors, but this one was ridiculous. Felt like listening to their programs that would read the words out loud on old PCs.

Took more time writing this than The time it took listening to it.

Audiobook is horrible!!!

Sometimes I need mindless stories while I work. However, I'll probably just read this myself. The narrator might be a cousin to Ben Stein! No inflection in her voice at all!

very vanilla take/romance

This is a very uncomplicated story and I did listen to it all. my criticisms are that the story is very simplistic and a bit vanilla for a book about a D/s relationship. the worst part, tho, is the narrator. VERY monotone. She is the female version of Kevin Kostners voice......know what I mean? No inflection, halting sentences, uncomfortable transitions from one sentence to another. part of that might be the editing. I am not an audio techie so I can't really say. but the monotone . . . ugh!

Horrible

I’ve been listening to audio books for years now and this book by far was the worse. The narrator was abysmal from beginning to end and I only continued to listen because I couldn’t download anything else. I wish I would have heeded the warnings in the reviews.

Reasonably good story

This book is typical of the genre. The premise is interesting, and the writing is better than average. The performance, however, demonstrates why authors, in general, shouldn't read their own work. The delivery is staccato, and monotonous. The phrasing ignored the sense of the text, and the characters. Unfortunately, this detracts from enjoyment of the book.
