Summary

Nathan and Carolina are prepared to make sacrifices for their families, but they'll have to learn to let go of the past to embrace the future.

Green architect Nathan Maxfield has always gone his own way. At 26, he's been happy to let his older brothers take charge of their father's construction company while he focused on environmentally friendly pursuits. With the business rebounding after a series of setbacks, now it's up to Nathan to prove his worth. He'll have to tame his risk-taking style to please a conservative new client, but he soon realizes his work will put a beautiful young mother in jeopardy.

At 24 years old, Carolina Valdez has more on her plate than most women. Between her failed marriages, caring for her kids, and helping with her mother's restaurant, she hardly has time for a personal life. When she learns the restaurant will be torn down to make way for new construction, she'll have to work even harder to keep the business going. The architect is her soon-to-be brother-in-law, and Carolina expects a fight. Instead, she finds herself getting lost in Nathan's hazel eyes.

When Carolina and Nathan come together despite their differences, others start working to tear them apart. To find happiness, they'll have to move on from the mistakes of their past.

I think I liked this the best of the 3 Maxwell brothers books. Nathan seems to me to have the nicest nature and be the kindest brother. I really enjoyed the series it is really good.

A great, fast-paced bad boy billionaire romance story with heartbreak, lust, secrets, love, and an HEA.

This audiobook was given to me for a honest unbiased review. Loved it. This series just keeps getting better and better. I love single mother plot angles, gives more of a real life scenario.

Lovely ending for a trilogy

I enjoyed the first book in this trilogy. Unfortunately I missed being able to get the second I can't afford it. I liked this one even more. I hate spoilers so I'll only say that if you like billionaire romances you'll enjoy these.
The narrator is really enjoyable he makes the story come to life, giving us different voices to tell characters apart.
I was voluntarily provided this review copy audio book at my request at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator. This did not impact my review in any way.

Great Addition to the Maxfield Brothers Series

I really enjoy Leslie's writing style and this book was excellent. I have come to really like the Maxfield brothers. Even their dad is growing on me. I hope there will be more books in this series, although, we have run out of brothers. Perhaps a book for their dad...

The narrator did an excellent job bringing the story to life.

It is part of a series but you can easily read it as a standalone. It is nice to see the other brothers happy and their story interwoven into this book. Looking forward to more books by Leslie North.

My favorite of the series!

I have read many of the books Leslie North has written and really enjoy her style. This book in particular is one of my favorites. Connor Brown did a fantastic job with conveying emotions and the various characters voices. He added so much expression to the various brothers and comical situations. This is a standalone book, yet part of a series. The author centered on Nathan (the youngest brother) and Caroline, yet wove updates on their families into the story. I loved the humor, consistency of facts, characters, and realistic relationship and stress. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher.

Series Keeps Getting Better

Any additional comments?

I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom. I was gifted books one and three, but purchased book 2 and listened in order, but I was pleased to find that you can listen to book three as a stand-a-lone as well as in the series. I think book three might even be the best of the three. Connor Brown has a very sexy voice and he does an excellent job performing the trilogy. This is a great series and I recommend it.

The Billionaire's Stubborn Lover

I was given this audio in exchange for an honest review.

I have listened to the other 2 books in the series so I had a pre conceived notion about Carolina. But I find I really like her character in her own book. It's Angie and her mother that become total B****es in this one. So much so that they are both really annoying characters. And Nathan has always been treated like a kid by his big brothers and thins aren't much different here to start out. It's sweet to see how living and accepting he is to Carolina and her kids. And Carlos was a great character!
