What made the experience of listening to The Billionaire's Secret Desire the most enjoyable?

“The Billionaire’s secret desire” by Alessandra Bancroft is a very passionate and engaging romance. Bancroft’s style is original, full of emotions and intelligent sense of humor.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The protagonist is Alex Roeg - very successful young and reach businessman but also very lonely and frustrated. The heroine is Mary - a writer and journalist. I like Mary because she is clever and rather shy, but also energetic and strong. She is definitely the one who can intrigue a man and be a great companion. I like the scene when they travel to Paris and later on to London by train because it is so romantic.

What about Jodi Stapler’s performance did you like?

Jodi Stapler is very good narrator, she is also very good actress, she can module her voice depends on situation and helps me to visualize story and feel emotions.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I like the scene when Alex is sitting at the bar and one lady force him to lead the conversation. He was really desperate and angry that even after hard day of work he doesn’t have a moment of peace.
Very clever is Mary’s plan to rescue him. I like her explanation that every man deserves for drinking and have a rest after work without unwanted company, even if it is a billionaire. That was really funny.
The most excited is when Mary and Alex become not only soul mates but also something more than friends.

I was worry the most when Alex admitted that he stole Mary’s notebook with her secrets. I think that because she is very independent and proud women. But I can’t say anymore to not spoil very excited and passionate end of the story. Great romance that keeping your excited and raise your adrenaline level.

Perfect, Exhilarating Romance

I've listened to a few of the book in this series now and I can't get enough! The characters are compelling and the storyline is gripping. There is the perfect balance of romance and suspense and I couldn't stop listening! Would definitely recommend to any romance lover!

I love how brilliant the characters’ roles were in the story. They complement each other a lot! While listening to it, I felt like I was playing Mary’s role, and it definitely gave me the chills! If Alex was someone I was actually dating in real life, he has already swept me off my feet really high off the ground! It is that kind of story that will never make you feel bored or unentertained.

To anyone who’s looking for a good romance book, I recommend this one! Expect some thrill and excitement, though, as it will definitely take you away!

A sensational and engaging romance

Bancroft delivers excellently on a short and sweet romance adventure that ticks all the right boxes. We're provided with a lovely portrayal of two interesting characters (Mary and Alex) who are thrust together and agree to play the part of a loving couple for the outside world. Before long of course, sparks begin to fly and the narrative carries you along on a fun journey that features sharp dialogue, great plot and a heap of enjoyable adventure. The story is really well told so you feel you can get lost in this tale and enjoy the wish fulfilment that Mary is experiencing as she gets swept into a millionaire lifestyle.

It was a nice touch having this audiobook read by a female (Jodi Stapler) which I felt helps the listener connect with the female protagonist and engage with the book in a new way. Stapler does an excellent performance, giving great pace and not over acting during romantic moments in the text.

Be sure to give this one a listen and you won't regret it!

Pleasant reading of a well conceived romance

This is a neat, little fictional romance that sports a well-conceived storyline, and enough sexual tension to hold the reader's interest to the end. Through the pleasant narration you are introduced to characters who are appealing and believable and their journey from strangers to lovers is well executed and enjoyable. Despite a few moments of weakness (the euphemistic use of "down below" being one that really jarred), the overall quality of the storyline makes this a sensual and agreeable romance. I particularly liked the use of Mary's journal throughout the book - a fresh and credible idea.

Riverting Romance Read!

This billionaire romance tale was a really fun and enjoyable listen. The story is full of passion, tension and thrills as you are drawn into Alex and Mary's worlds.

The characters that Ms Bancroft has created are well-rounded and believable with Mary in particular standing out. She has great depth to her and the author does a tremendous job of conveying how confused and excited she must be by meeting this billionaire.

The book is one those that is impossible to stop listening to and has a great pace to it. Furthermore, the narrator is excellent as she is engaging and has a great voice for romance stories.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a little shot of romance in there life and I look forward to seeing what the author produces next!

well, i want to start by boasting... i own this book both in kindle and audio format! boom!
This romance is successfully suspenseful and exciting! I love the voice and the tone of this novel. It is such a fun and romantic read. I couldn't stop reading it until the end. It was definitely successful in being very sensual, and the descriptions are vivid... The author is talented!

Highly recommend for a good romance read that's different and exciting.
