I put my foster father behind bars. It doesn't matter that he deserved it. What matters is that he's powerful, manipulative, and now, he wants me dead. I can feel someone watching me. I know my time is running out. The only other person who cares if I live or die is a masked stranger. So I'm putting my life in the vigilante's hands - and maybe a piece of my heart along with it. Summary
Chad LaChance is a hypersuccessful businessman with no time for love. His work ethic has made him rich, but it has also made him ill. He has to make some changes or he won't be around long enough to enjoy all his money. His mentor sends him to a "resort" in the woods of Maine, where he is supposed to rest and heal, and it is there he meets his health coach.
Heidi Leeman loves her life. She loves her job, her home, and her coworkers. She has no idea there's room in her life for more until she meets the billionaire. But even then, what could a rich man like that want with a hippie like her? They're too different, aren't they?
As they get to know each other, sparks fly. But when Chad's stalker follows him to the resort, things get complicated fast. Can they sort things out to find their HEA?
This is a stand-alone sweet romance, appropriate for any age.

Sweet Romance for all ages!
Penelope Spark is a new author for me and this short romance is definitely appropriate for all ages. Chad and Heidi are opposites and likeable characters. I enjoyed listening to this story and the narration with the portrayals of all the characters are great!

Sweet and Easy Listen
Chad has always been a hard worker, a rigid businessman, and someone who could only relax with a drink in his hand. It paid off with billions in the bank, but he's not the picture of health. His mentor ships him off to a retreat that's more of a hippie commune in Chad's eyes with all raw food, no cellphones, and more horrifically, no coffee. He's less than into yoga and therapy, but he's trapped without a car and no escape. But when he meets Heidi, he thinks he might just tough it out. Heidi is the health coach at the retreat, knowing what herbs can get rid of a headache, and what the best yoga poses are for a strained back. Usually new clients are less than thrilled about the raw vegan diets and the hours of peace and quiet, but Chad takes it to a new level and she thinks he's a bit of a spoiled brat. But Heidi never met a client she couldn't crack. Chad and Heidi strike up a loose friendship where both dance around how different their lives are. Then a new client from Chad's area comes to stay and things get wildly complicated for a place that highlights relaxation on their brochure. With an end date in sight and lies between them, it'll take more than a therapy appointment and some yoga to fix their mess. Story wise, it was a cute book with a location unlike any other I had read. Personally, I don't think I could survive without coffee and the internet, but if Chad could, I guess I could as well. Both Chad and Heidi were flawed in a human way that made them a bit annoying at times, but that often only served to make them seem more real. As I listened, I was desperate for them to just come clean to each other. But annoyance of two peoples romantic ignorance is the mark of a good book. If you aren't a little torn or or anxious or angry or sad, is it really a book worth reading? As with every other Meghan Kelly narration I've had the pleasure of listening to, The Billionaire's Cure was a lovely book to spend time with. Each character had a unique tone that gave them all a voice without coming across as too much. With some audiobooks, over-narration can really take away from the story as the speaker tries too hard. But Kelly never over does it, merely adds to the story, just as a a narrator should.

Light Romantic Comedy
Okay, I admit. I thought this was going to be a contemporary romance, but was pleasantly surprised to find it a romantic comedy. This is the first book by Penelope Spark for me. If I ever want a light romance, I'll definitely grab another by her. The storyline was straight forward. The comedic scenes were hilarious and I enjoyed the inner thought dialogue of the main characters. I like Ms. Spark's writing. I thought the author could have taken longer developing and completing the Gloria storyline. I had questions remaining about Gloria that I felt could have been answered in the story. This would have been satisfying for the reader/listener. The main cast Chad, Heidi, Bob, Gloria was fairly well developed. I would have liked to have learned more about how Chad was before he entered the retreat center and how it changed his outlook and who he was after. Not just the one business decision he made at the end. I am always pleased when I see Meghan Kelly attached to an audiobook narration. I enjoy her storytelling. Her voices are spot on and I thoroughly enjoy her performances. This audiobook production was no exception. She is clear and has great male voices (IMHO). This is the first time I have heard her in a romantic comedy and I loved it! I would gladly listen to another audiobook by Ms. Kelly I was given a free copy of this audiobook by the author. I have voluntarily written this review based on my listening experience. Thank you. Content Warning: NONE (just as the title states, this is clean, no sex, language or violence to worry about)

Charming romance with some hilarious moments......
The Billionaire's Cure is a sweet and charming love story appropriate for readers of any age. It features Chad, a self made billionaire with a type A, workaholic personality. When the stress of his life risks his health, he agrees to go to a cleansing retreat where he meets Heidi, an extremely bubbly, outgoing health coach. What follows is a fun story of Heidi and Chad, two complete opposites in every way possible, getting to know and care about each other. Although this is at heart a love story, the commentary (both inside and outside his head) by Chad, Mr. Cynical, about the various holistic, WooWoo practices of the retreat are hilarious. You will need to read it to fully appreciate what I am saying, but the entire sauna scene and what followed it had me laughing so hard that I cried. The author did such a terrific job of making me fall for both Heidi and Chad's characters, and she made them seem like the perfect couple despite, or maybe because of, their differences. Meghan Kelly is my favorite female narrator, and she did her usual amazing job with the narration of this story. She handles both male and female voices superbly, and she made a terrific book an even better listen. I will definitely be listening to more books by Spark and/or narration by Kelly in the near future. I received a copy of this audiobook at my request in exchange for this honest review.

What a fun story!
Penelope Spark is a new author to me, and I am so glad I have had the opportunity to listen to her book! This one totally hit home, as Chad LaChance has gone away to learn to relax and get healthier. On my own mission to healthier eating, I could relate to all the things Chad was going through. As his pretty health coach, Heidi is teaching him the art of relaxation, enjoying the outdoors, literally sweating out the bad, and ingesting the good. Their attraction is fierce, but we are talking city meets country, so this could never work. Add in the other guests that add an additional flavor to the mix and the fun employees Heidi works with and this is a recipe for success. I really liked Chad. His character is one I can totally understand. Always running, never taking the time to take care of himself, he needs the balance of someone like Heidi. Heidi is a very calm person...or is she? These two together ignite sparks, go through some interesting situations and their conversations will have you both frustrated and laughing out loud. It's a great story. Narrated by Meghan Kelly, this book is given it's due. She brings the story to life, each character with their own personality. I loved the cook, he is so lively and full of good advice and Meghan nails him! She can get into the head of each one and know exactly how they should sound and delivers.

Get this audio for a cure for your heart
This is a fantastic audio. If I could I’d give it 10 stars I would . This is an audio that has many layers . It shows that even though the hero and Heroine has issues, their biggest issue is about trust and listing to your instincts. Hero is Chad. Heroine is Heidi. Chad needs a rehaul on his life , to learn to eat properly, and relax. Once Chad gets to the resort he can’t believe how simple life is . Once Chad walks in the kitchen that’s where he meets Heidi . Heidi is their heath coach and she can help Chad with anything that comes his way. There is a surprise that shows up at the resort, it’s someone that wants a future with Chad but Chad doesn’t know her . The other lady plays with both Chad and Heidi . She’s throwing smoke screams in Heidis way . Will Chad and Heidi pull their resources together and find happiness . I loved the ending that’s all I’m going to say Meagan Kelly was fantastic, every time I hear her narrating a story I can’t believe how alive she makes it seem . There is one part in the book that Meghan does, it’s in the Kitchen . There is Bob (the chef ) Heidi and Chad , the way Meghan did all three voices was unbelievable. The voices were 3 different pitches . It seemed you were right in the Kitchen standing beside the characters. Meghan is very talented.

Definitely on the road to be a better man.
A Billionaire forced to take a week off by his Business Coach winds up a very weird health spa. A through detox and a commune with the nature he had forgotten existed, along with a spark of attraction to the Nutritionist makes a very interesting story.

The Cure
If decimals were allowed, I would give this a 3.89. There were moments where I thought this was a really sweet story and a guaranteed HEA, but then there were moments of frustration because Chad could be a jerk at times. However, I completely understood how he felt... being forced to do something you don't want to, but in the end, you really need to. I loved Heidi and how she handled Chad. She didn't let him treat her any kind of way. What started off as a friendship soon blossomed into something more, until his crazy stalker appears. It would have been nice to find out how that situation was resolved. Overall, this was enjoyable.
