At first I thought the book was from this time frame but there were small clues that showed it was possibly around the early 1900's. I think indicating a date would have helped set the scene. The heroine seemed very naive when wanting to do a mail order marriage with money required but also wanting to be platonic. I liked the story and the concept but just couldn't connect with the heroine. No steam but there was an HEA. I received this audiobook by my request in exchange for an honest review from Audiobook Boom.

Quick and sweet
Cute and quick, this listen is perfect for my walk! This mail order bride was a little different than others. Alyssa turned to the mail order bride classifieds to help her destitute family out. Not looking for a true love, her love of farming and taking care of her family were the top priority. Keith is looking for a wife, has a lot of to offer and agrees to Alyssa's terms. But will these two be a match? I love the exchange of letters first, and then watching the relationship grow. Their friendship is strong, their feelings growing, but after a month, will Alyssa want to stay? Give this quickie a listen to find out!
Zura Johnson is perfect for these stories. Her voice has the inflections I can feel as she tells the story. It makes the listen so I get pulled in and am encountering the west and mail order bride experience. I love her!

Great Read
The Billionaire's Bargain: Mail Order Bride Romance was a good read by Jessica Tait. Alyssa has worked on her parents farm when her father falls ill. She knows that they need more money to support her family and decides to become a mail order bride. She meets Ethan and doesn't expect to fall for him. I enjoyed reading Alyssa and Ethan's story.

The Billionaire's Bargain: Mail Order Bride
The billionaire's Bargain: Mail Order Bride... This was a sweet ... clean ... love story. I'm not sure why there was a disclaimer on it. I felt like I was in a hallmark movie. Set in I'd say the late 1800's?

A rather simple straightforward story of Alyssa, woman who became a mail-order bride. It has a bit of a Christian flavor despite a desire to lie. A couple things bothered me, the emphasis that as a woman Alyssa couldn't help physically with physical work and the propensity to weakness and feeling sorry for herself.
Zura Johnson did a great job narrating. She has a sweet calm voice that worked well for Alyssa. Her pacing was very steady.
I obtained this story in exchange for a honest review at my request.

Don’t waste your money!!!!
The cover is deceptive and the story is boring. The narrator should be reading children’s books.
