Summary

My new boss has it all. In spades.

Gorgeous green eyes? Check. Hard-and-sexy body? Check. Intelligence? Check. Success? A big fat billionaire.... Check.

Too bad I haven't started out on the best foot. My big mouth has already turned him against me, and tempting good looks and success aside, Trent Turner is no peach either. He's stubborn and thick-headed, and son of a fruitcake, he thinks he knows everything there is to know about the hotel business.

With him running the development of the new Vanderturn New Orleans Hotel and me doing the design, our work relationship is far too intimate for two people who absolutely despise one another. But that's not all. See, he isn't just my billionaire boss from hell. He's my new neighbor, too.

Same city. Same building. Same floor.

Trent Turner is my billionaire boss next door.

Holy moly, let's hope my career - and hormones - can survive.

Contains mature themes.

I wanted so bad to love this!

The story was great (witty, funny and sarcastic) as I have come to expect from Max Monroe. The female narrator was awful. Seriously, I had to take a few breaks to finish listening. I love their work and I loved the story, but the narrator was reading like an eighth grader. I was so bummed! The male narrator was fine.

Great story! Not so great narration...

I waited till this book came out on audiobook to get it. I love the Authors but I was sadly disappointed by the narrators. I wish they would of used the same narrators from the previous billionaire series. It would of been a completely different audiobook and the characters would of been portrayed differently.

OMG

This has got to be THE worst narration I have had the displeasure of hearing. I can not get past the 4th chapter. That whiny shill voice has ruined my hearing and not one laugh. I must have a really weird idea of what rom-com humor is because I heard none. what a waste of time and the concept had such potential.

Well alrighty then

Ok I love Max Monroe and this was a good book. It took a second to get into like the first few chapters until around the gym and new year chapters. Greer and Trent were so cute reminded me of different versions of Georgia and Kline. Cap was like Thatch and Quincy/Emory where like Winnie and Wes. Love those Billionaire Bad Boys. Anyway you will like this book. I am on to the next one in this collection...My Brother's Billionaire Best Friend.

Very Little Humor

This dynamic duo are the pair I turn to when I need a good laugh, but it wasn't here. The heroine starts out with humorous potential that she doesn't live up to. This book felt formulaic and thefemale narrator needs more experience.

Okay story

The story was okay, but I listened by audio book and couldn't get past the way the narration was done. Had I read instead of listened, I am sure I would have enjoyed this one more.

I Loved It!!!

I started reading book three first.. which is fine, although I think reading them in order best.
That being said, this story is definitely another great Max Monroe story.
Greer and Trent are the perfect couple.. even if they don't know it... Yet...

Greer's start is her Uber ride and the romance and laughter continues from there..

Being set together to work on Trent's father's business..hotel... Greer is their new designer extraordinaire.
So what if she's opinionated... or a bit stubborn... and broke.
Trent is mesmerized at Greer's amazing body a nd her beauty. Too bad they argue... a lot.
With Greer's sense of humor, playing tricks on Trent proves quite interesting.

I don't want to give away too much of the story, just know it's worth any credit you may have.. or just pay for it. It's that good!!!

Enjoy the trilogy 😊
