Summary

My new boss has it all. In spades.

Gorgeous green eyes? Check. Hard-and-sexy body? Check. Intelligence? Check. Success? A big fat billionaire.... Check.

Too bad I haven't started out on the best foot. My big mouth has already turned him against me, and tempting good looks and success aside, Trent Turner is no peach either. He's stubborn and thick-headed, and son of a fruitcake, he thinks he knows everything there is to know about the hotel business.

With him running the development of the new Vanderturn New Orleans Hotel and me doing the design, our work relationship is far too intimate for two people who absolutely despise one another. But that's not all. See, he isn't just my billionaire boss from hell. He's my new neighbor, too.

Same city. Same building. Same floor.

Trent Turner is my billionaire boss next door.

Holy moly, let's hope my career - and hormones - can survive.

Contains mature themes.

I wanted so bad to love this!

The story was great (witty, funny and sarcastic) as I have come to expect from Max Monroe. The female narrator was awful. Seriously, I had to take a few breaks to finish listening. I love their work and I loved the story, but the narrator was reading like an eighth grader. I was so bummed! The male narrator was fine.

Great story! Not so great narration...

I waited till this book came out on audiobook to get it. I love the Authors but I was sadly disappointed by the narrators. I wish they would of used the same narrators from the previous billionaire series. It would of been a completely different audiobook and the characters would of been portrayed differently.

The Billionaire Boss Next Door Review

Where can I start this book took to long to catch my interest but i stuck with it and to be honest i wish i wouldnt have wasted my last credit on this book to me it wasnt steaming and sexy enough took almost the while book for them to get together. It had a good storyline but it just drew out to long

Disappointed

The ending was really good but it was hard to get there. The narrators were so bad! The woman narrator paused too much and the male narrator was too fast and honestly cheesy. Greer was a little hard to like but I think I would have enjoyed this book a lot more with different narrators.

Laughing so hard!

A hilarious story by an author duo that I have a feeling will be a favorite soon. But it was more than just funny, there were really good ideas as well. For instance, Greer’s description of what it is like to be single at a New Year’s Eve party was spot on, exactly the way it feels. Then there was the part that it sounded like Greer was being killed while she watched a certain tv show, even through the wall between her and Trent’s apartment. The people who lived next door to me when I lived in my townhouse probably wondering what was going on whenever I was watching Whose Line Is It Anyway? I mean my dogs hate when I watch that show, they won’t sit on the couch with me because I laugh so much. There was the end though, with some misunderstandings, and I thought I’d be mad at Trent for what happened, but he cleared it up pretty quickly once we heard the rest of the conversation. Which meant then that I was mad at Greer for not confronting him about it.

My only big issue with this was the female narrator paused so much and sometimes at weird spots, and read so slow that I had to speed up her narration. But I didn’t feel like messing with it back and forth on chapters to keep the male narrator on regular speed, so I had to get used to him a little fast, and that wasn’t the most ideal. In the end though this book was hilarious and I can’t wait to read/listen to more in this series or other books by this author duo.

Got surfer dude vibes from the narration.

The narrations made this the longest book ever. Listen to the reviews!!! Reading the book was better than listening to it.

A little disappointing

Trying to decide if it was the storyline, or the narrators that got the 3 stars. The voices and text of their characters were a little to be desired, they were grating and the Alexanders voice changes to the female characters were awful and unrealistic. Stephanie's voice was a bit grating and it felt that she reading directly from the script and didn't flow with ease. The storyline was good the sparky comments and relationship was probably the best part.

OMG

This has got to be THE worst narration I have had the displeasure of hearing. I can not get past the 4th chapter. That whiny shill voice has ruined my hearing and not one laugh. I must have a really weird idea of what rom-com humor is because I heard none. what a waste of time and the concept had such potential.

Well alrighty then

Ok I love Max Monroe and this was a good book. It took a second to get into like the first few chapters until around the gym and new year chapters. Greer and Trent were so cute reminded me of different versions of Georgia and Kline. Cap was like Thatch and Quincy/Emory where like Winnie and Wes. Love those Billionaire Bad Boys. Anyway you will like this book. I am on to the next one in this collection...My Brother's Billionaire Best Friend.
