I considered not completing The Babysitter a number of times as the narration was not good in my opinion. I usually go for books with a single narrator but in this instance it didn’t work for me! The voices used were far too exaggerated & squeaky at times.

Story quite, narration not so good

Unfortunately, I couldn't finish this book due to the awful narration. I listened for a couple of hours hoping I could overcome it, however it just made me feel annoyed. It's the first time in over 150 books that I've had to stop one due to the narrator.

I will purchase the paperback version of this book to give it a real chance.

The Narration is Terrible

the story overall was really good, I enjoyed it. I found myself tearful and cheering! I have enjoyed a few of her books now, although there has always been a theme of the female lead either losing control of her bladder/sweating through her clothes - slightly repetative in that respect. I'm suprised I made it through, as the narration was just too over the top,
I would actually look to avoid this narrator in the future.

Good book. I liked the way it moved along. It was over 3days and each person view.

The narration was almost enough for me to give up, but I pushed through on x1.3 speed.

It’s meant to be read, not acted out like some sort of high camp radio serial. I couldn’t deal with the characterisations, especially the police personnel.

But I was invested in the story and wanted to get to the end. It passed the time, but glad it was in the plus catalogue and I didn’t waste a credit on it.

Liked the story, not the narration.
