Rather like other Bentley Little titles this deals with power and bureaucracy that is out of control, Residents of an exclusive gated housing community are at the mercy of petty rules and regulations invoked by a resident’s association to abuse and torment as they see fit. Challenges to the status quo are not tolerated but as with any good story, there are those that try with the resulting interplay making for a frustrating but compulsive read. The ending was a bit of a disappointment and short lived…as with other Bentley Little titles i have listened to. Such a good storyline deserved better.

I guess the story was ok it's just that it drag's on a bit to much for me & it's not really a horror story but that's only my opinion The narrator was also ok but could have done more with the character's voice's In the last 18 min's the 📖 just get's seriously STUPID IT'S AS IF THE AUTHOR GOT BORED & WANTED TO STOP WRITING

Bentley Little is one of my favourite authors, and although his storylines are somewhat whacky, they always keep me gripped and wanting more. However, the narrator let the story down, as I found his voice slow and dreary, making it difficult to read. Great book, but maybe best to read a paperback copy yourself.
