Summary

The Art of War is the most famous and longest-lasting book on the practice of war. The book does not mince words: war is about winning; it is not a gentleman's game; it is about using every means at one's disposal to tip the odds in one's favor. Of the centuries, this book has been used by military figures, war departments, business people, educators, and politicians, to name a few. This is the original work without additional editorial comment.

Good book Bad Narrator

The book is solid but this should’ve never been released with this narrator. If I wanted to hear someone stumble over reading I could’ve bought the book and recorded myself lol.
Seriously though, they need to re-do this whole audiobook. Luckily it’s a short a read because it’s very cringeworthy.

Aweful narration kills the spirit of Sun Tzu!

If you love your ears, go try finding a different narrator as I did! This is bad

Interesting, however...

Really not a fan of the narrator. There are numerous hiccups and pauses that shouldn't be there and gives a feeling they forgot to edit

Give it a chance then it's very good

This is an ancient manuscript that is read very plainly. after getting used to the readers voice this is a very compelling piece of history that can be listened to again and again.

Word switcher

This guy likes to go pretty quickly which made him get his words mixed up on a lot of things. He skips a lot of parts. However the book was full read so that's about all you can really say 🤷🏼‍♂️

Narriation by speakerphone?

This review may be subjective, but I can not focus on this audiobook as the narrator sounds as if he's narrating by speakerphone. The echoing, hollow sound is very distracting and I can even get through the first chapter. I find myself becoming frustrated with the sound quality and I have to turn it off. I'm still very interested in this book, but not by this audio file.

Worst reader ever!!!

I was excited about this book after hearing people discuss it for years. I have listened to hundreds of audiobooks but this was by far the worst reader ever. Could not finish it.
