this is a bridging book

by the I mean this book is used to set up the next books in the series by giving the party contacts, adversaries and means to overcome their challenges it's not a bad book, but the pacing and content of the book is marked by what the author needed it to be... Eric Martin stepped up his game and not a single error from the box set occurred in this book which makes me very happy

Good book with only one little problem

good like always the jumping can still be a bit jaring but I feel like that is a audio book problem as there would breaks in the book to let you know. other than that it's another great book by Tao

still so short

it's a good book but it's still so short, all the books are, be nice if the writer can make one longer.

Short story

The Story is good and well told the only complaint is that it's to expensive for how short the story is. 😢

Great

Loved the build up and character development, but wish it had been longer. Other than that I'm looking forward to hearing the next book.

Great Series!

Good story and narration! The MC is a fighter / healer hybrid who has to give up memories and experience in order to heal. the series follows the adventures of him and his party as they level up and explore new experiences. Eric does a good job with the narration. I love the series!

far too short

Is there a minimum word count for publishing? If so, this fell short. this is a amazing story but this was just words vomited onto a page. hastily thrown together

short basically half a book

the story is good the narration is good. My problem with this book is it's basically half of one. it's fairly short I think the author is getting greedy and cutting a stories and half forcing you to buy more

I love this series. It's just too short.

It doesn't leave you with any sense of completion or closure. And unfortunately not much has happened in the last few books. Very little progress or character development. I really love the premise of it though. I just wish the author wasn't so gun-shy about expressing it to its fullest. Other than that. It has a lot of promise. And I very much like how different it is from most of its kind. Where in his world skill is ultimately more important then simply who has the highest numbers.

to level up or Too Short to truly understand

as usual this is a masterful book unfortunately it's too short while all of them in the series are about this length this book left something that would have brought it to the same height as the other books Tao it's a masterful artist most times but in keeping to his format lengthwise he wasn't able to elevate this book to the level of his other works this is one that he needed to make into a true novel in order to get the full scope of it and a Paris for the next book

probably my least favorite of this series.

struggled to finish it. A lot of what's going on is more of the same. the last 10 minutes of the book make me want to listen to the next one though.
