Better than toast
A great accompaniment to the hardback, but with extra commentary and bants between the guys as they read.. Many places had me laughing out loud - in particular, Phil's Snorkelling Incident - so good! Really recommend this to any fellow fans, a great listen!

A fun, enjoyable listen.
I haven't bought the original, so only have the audiobook to review, and I main it was a difficult task to translate to this medium. I think it has been done well, bringing something different from the book, and a personal and friendly tone to the audiobook, which, I imagine, will make the experience much different for those who have the book. There is a lot of humour in the stories and the manner of telling, which parallels their YouTube personas. Overall, a good, enjoyable listen.

Omg it was amazing! It was so emotional and it is really good for cheering people up or using up a few hours to spare, can be relaxing at times too!

Relaxed, Creative and Authentic
What did you like most about The Amazing Book Is Not on Fire?
I can't say any particular moment of the book was my favourite as I found all of it incredible. However, if I were pushed for a section I would have to say an all time favourite section of the book was Dan and Phil reading 'Young Phil's Diary'. Their comments and own general amusement at the content made you more relaxed and jut increased how entertaining the section was.
What about Dan Howell and Phil Lester ’s performance did you like?
Whilst listening to the audio book, I decided to re-read it at the same time with the physical copy beside me to see how the book flowed, and it was simply amazing. At first it was slightly awkward, some parts had to be changed or scrapped completely because they simply just didn't fit in with the audio style, but it quickly became easy to follow and made the words on the page seem much more emotional and authentic. I simply loved the banter that occurred between the two that wasn't included in the book, as like with some sentences/pages not being able to fit in with the audio style, some of the audio wouldn't work with the book. It made the book much more relaxing to read, and incredibly amusing.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Although it couldn't be called moving, Phil's chat logs were infinitely more hilarious to listen to than to read, purely due to the style in which it was read. The long sections of text, such as the interview with One Direction, Dan and Phil on Radio One, and Phil and Dan in Japan gave of a relaxed atmosphere which made it really easy to listen and laugh to.
Any additional comments?
I loved the video trivia, there was just something that felt more realistic about being told this information by the people themselves. The sound effects also merged with the audio cleverly. In the Radio One section when talking about 'The Dan and Phil show features' having the 'Dan vs Phil' tune play before talking about it was attention grabbing, and made the book feel more familiar. Amazing job guys!
