One of the single best books on life, economics and the universe that I've ever read. Scott Galloway is an enormously entertaining speaker who understands how to build bridges between divergent audiences by speaking common sense.

I give this book as a gift nieces and nephews once they're 18.

Scott’s best book. Some others have felt opportunistic and him meeting a book deal quota but this strikes a wonderful balance of all the things he cares about and it shows. He gets to teach, he gets to talk about finance and most importantly he gets to give real life examples of how strategies and systems have played out for him.

I get a feeling he has a deep sense of pride from certain parts. I’ve listened to Scott for maybe 7 years and without coming off as a parasocial nutjob I see he takes such pride in mentioning how he was empowered to give his mother a good death or how he gets to be a great dad or how he’s very bold about his loses. I can’t help but feel a connection with this book or I guess Scott to a degree because I myself take a lot of pride in owning my loses.

Sorry that was a bit off topic ha but Scott’s financial advice is great for a ton of people, especially given this new age of finance conscious young millennials

Really enjoyed this book and that it was narrated by SG ( I think most authors should try this). It delivered insightful knowledge and information through a carefully crafted narrative which helps the reader to identify core elements that can be woven into your own life and habits.
He also recognises that he comes from a place of privilege now and references this throughout as a key component to remember, but it also gives further understanding as to why he writes blogs, writes books, etc, to benefit others as well as himself. I listened to this in a day and have gone back to it several times since.
Well worth a listen and a watch of his follow up videos online
