Summary
Isabella Rose is on the run, hunted by the very people she had been hired to work for. Trained killer Isabella and former handler Michael Pope are forced into hiding in India and, when a mysterious informer passes them clues on the whereabouts of Pope's family, the prey see an opportunity to become the predators.
Chased from the poverty of Mumbai's slums into the sights of a sniper's rifle amongst the lavish wealth of Shanghai, Isabella and Pope hunt fleeting shadows in a race against time. And they can't afford to lose.
The Agent is the third part in a continuing story involving Isabella Rose that also includes The Angel and The Asset.

If you could sum up The Agent in three words, what would they be?
Conspiracy, Suspense & Unexpected
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Agent?
Without giving any spoilers how Pope & Rose were going to beat the odds!
Have you listened to any of Napoleon Ryan’s other performances? How does this one compare?
I have only come across this narrator during this series. His performance is excellent and he is really well suited to voicing the characters and keeping the listener engaged and interested.

No peace for the non wicked
Terrific story. All three of these Isabella Rose thrillers have been “ can’t stop listening “ and following the Beatrix Rose books I have found a very good story teller and a good story to follow through

Loved it.
Mark Dawson is my favourite author at this time. Fast paced thriller that follows on from the previous two Isabella Rose books. I have been reading one after the other and they did not disappoint. Narrator was excellent and easy to listen to. Don’t pay attention of previous criticism of him. Moving on to the latest John Milton after this. Wish he was here now fighting alongside Michael Pope.

Good story
I am enjoying the story and getting used to the narrator. I feel that there is a bit to much repetition at times and over description of things like every gun they pick up, etc. Looking forward to the next book though, as I want to see where the story takes us.

Good series
I find the narrator off putting at times but not enough to disregard the book.
The story is good and each is always left on a cliff hanger to get the next.

Excellent book
Excellent book, well written once again. A lot of jumping about to sort the characters but once sorted everything fell into place. Just have to wait now for the next installment which I hope isn't too long in coming.

Well paced
I preferred this to the previous story in the series. It was more pacy and interesting in content. Isabella Rose is certainly an amazing fictional fifteen year old, shrewd, skilled and learned! I'm now anticipating book four in the series....
