Lacks real depth.

If you’re new to social media and don’t fully understand it this book might help you begin to get an understanding. If you already use it and have a decent grasp this book frustratingly lacks practical depth.

Covers everything, But covers nothing

This book tries to put a lot of information in as few words as posable (its only 3 hours long). Covering every social media but only scraps the surface of all of them. Personal I would not recommend this book

This is an excellent book for anyone who wants to learn about marketing on social media. It teaches you about the different types of social media and which type of social media is best for which type of market. This is the part they I really love.

Very Helpful. This book has been really helpful in sorting out what is actually important and what’s not as important with social media marketing. There are so many sources out there that are constantly telling you different things, but I found that the way that the author organized the book and explained everything was really helpful.

5 STARS!!!

I’m glad I bought this, but too much theory and not enough practice. But I guess a lot of that just depends on what type of business you own and how you operate it. If you’re a sole proprietorship, then you probably need to hire VA’s or assistants to help you manage a lot of this. If you have employees, then you probably will want whoever handles your marketing and advertising campaigns to read this too and see how they can put it into practice.

Great info on Facebook. Some of the sections were a little short and I guess I would have liked to see more examples but the part about facebook especially was really good. If your feeling overwhelmed about where to begin I would really focus on facebook. The thing about facebook is that it really allows you to zero in on your target market and find the people you really want to reach. I would take some time and really learn everything you can about facebook marketing and even paid facebook ads. It’s worth learning and will really pay off for you down the road

good overall

There is also a wonderful preface about how the technology behind bitcoin evolved over a couple of decades. The book is really a pleasure to listen, I couldn't put it down, and I've been recommending it broadly.

There were about ten minutes of useful information

All the other reviews were right. If you have no idea how social media works, then you'll get a lot out of this book. Otherwise, it's pretty much just a collection of descriptions of platforms woven into a dry narrative with milquetoast comments like "this might work for you, but it might not."

This is exactly what I needed. Accessible, easy to listen, with very practical tips and guidance on how best to use the different sites for their unique value. I needed something quick and easy but of high value to fit into our fast paced marketing efforts, and this is it.
