Enjoyable

I enjoyed this book immensely. I think the learning from it is simple and could be explained in a single paragraph, but the stories from people who have used the rule are truly inspiring. The author/narrator comes across so passionately right the way through and it feels like she is speaking directly to you, in an almost conversational way. On a personal note, I really like the teaching and I can't wait to start to use this rule in my every day life... in fact I just did in writing this review!!

Excellent

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I already have recommended this book to friends, even while I was half way through. 'Life-changing' is a fair description in my opinion - provided you put it into practice.

Any additional comments?

Outstanding book. I listened to it in one sitting, but I will listen to it again several times until this becomes my habitual way of dealing with procrastination. I noticed several spots in the book where a mistake was made in the reading, so Mel reread it, obviously with the intention of an editor editing out the mistake, however these were not edited out. If she paid someone to edit this, then she needs to get them to put this right. I would be horrified if I was to hand a voice-over file back to a client with these errors in. Mel, if you want someone to edit your future audio books, I would be more than happy to do it. You will find me on your email list.

Amazing and inspirational

I loved this book. The stories were fantastic and it has really helped me realise that I can do the things in life I want to do, 5,4,3,2,1.... Do it!! Xx

Reborn

I never understood how to push against my feelings, to get where I want in life and what I really want. Very practical and easy to undertand.

this book is a game changer! in small or large ways. Read this book! it's inspired me to start yoga, tidy up the detritus of my life and move forward with positivity and courage ✨

5-4-3-2-1 I loved it!

What an amazing book! I just completed the High Five Habit and then took the plunge into the 5 second rule. For the past few days I have launched myself out of bed (that hasn’t happened in a long time!) wow, what a change. You can achieve so much more with having a productive morning.

Wow... just wow.

Everyone should read this book. It was recommended to me by a friend and I wasn't sure at first but went for it anyway and I'm so glad I did. It puts everything into perspective and gives you skills to progress your life in the direction you want. Amazing :)

What a simple yet effective rule .. A game Changer

I found Mel Robbins by accident on Ted Talks a few months ago and have been in complete AWE with her ever since. Her book is simple, tackles real life challenges and her 5 second rule is easy but don't be fooled by its simplicit ... it is really effective and it works.
I have bought this book many times over and have given it to everyone. I cannot recommend it enough if you are looking to improve an area of your life that you just can't seem to get moving. 5-4-3-2-1 : get this book !
