Good information but annoying voiceover
The Spartan training programme is as you would imagine, basic, functional and designed to build muscle. I could write more about the programme but I’m going to focus on the one killer element that has put me off listening to this again and that’s the voiceover dude. This is not personal as I’m sure he’s a nice guy but someone should have stepped in and said that ‘this is not the career for you’ - the content is somewhat lost because you find yourself getting annoyed at the voice and the fact that it sounds like it’s been read by a junior school kid who’s doing an impression of a Robot. “Ok. Are. You. Ready. To. Train. Like a. Spartan. Good.” Whoever signed this off needed to have a word with themselves, truly terrible and not the least bit inspirational or motivational. For all it’s failings though, i will be following the programme for 12 weeks to see what results I get.

it was nearly impossible to listen to as the speaker was like a bad imitation of captain Kirk trying to read a book. if you speed it up to 1.3 it's close to bearable. The content was basic and repeated from other books on similar focus imo.
