About this listen

A compilation of short horror stories. Some were accepted for publishing in anthologies or ezines that, for one reason or another, never came to fruition, and others are just nasty little chunks of my brain that fell off over the past several years. Monsters and monstrous people doing devilish things in likely violent and ill-tempered ways.

If you like horror short-stories with a dark, creepy bent, this collection seems well-suited. It's a visceral, perhaps unflinching horror

Good if you enjoy horror short-stories, like to dip into multiple weird or monstrous ideas, and are comfortable with possibly graphic or visceral horror.

That Only Death Can Bring appears to be a solid choice for horror fans who want a range of shorter bites of fear rather than one long, slow-burn novel.

That Only Death Can Bring is a good collection of dark, eerie, and delightfully creepy horror stories. Dan Dillard’s writing pulls you in, and Phillip McKaughan’s narration brings each tale to life with a tone that perfectly matches the unsettling mood.
It’s definitely a set of stories best enjoyed in instalments rather than in one long sitting, unless you want to be thoroughly creeped out! LOL.
Overall, an engaging and enjoyable listen for any horror fan who loves a good shiver down the spine.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author and leave this honest review.
