Summary

Important disclaimer: This book is not for everyone - just those who want to have more fun, more adventures, and more magic in their life.

Thank & Grow Rich is for anyone interested in hooking up with the magnanimous energy field of the cosmos. Author Pam Grout, who likes to call herself the Warren Buffet of Happiness, says it all starts with getting on the frequency of joy and gratitude.

Thanking (rather than thinking) puts us on an energetic frequency - a vibration - that calls in miracles.

Science has proven that when we observe the world from a place of gratitude, when we use our attention to spot beauty and gaze at wonder, we develop the capacity to radically rev up our day-to-day experience.

Brazen gratitude, it seems, provides a portal - an entry point - straight into the heart of the field of infinite possibilities described in Grout's best-seller E-Squared. This book also offers an updated perspective on abundance, which goes way beyond financial capital. It shows listeners how to grow and expand their creative capital, their social capital, their spiritual capital, and much, much more!

Your credit union might offer a butter dish or a koozie, but an investment in this book comes with your own personal sign from the universe, an answer to an important question, a customized totem, and a one-of-a-kind gift from the natural world.

But more importantly, this 30-day experiment will upgrade your life experience from ho-hum to wahoo! From life sucks to life rocks! From woe is me to yippie-ti-yi-yay!

Loved it

Would you consider the audio edition of Thank & Grow Rich to be better than the print version?

Just downloaded this on 3 days ago and am already on my 3rd listen.
A great follow up to E2 and E3, and a brilliant antidote to limited thinking.

What did you like best about this story?

Not really a story, but a massive collection of personal stories, quotes, real life examples and exercises in seeing the less-recognised side of life - the side with greatness beneath it.

What does Pam Grout bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Her own voice - her humour and her personality.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I did smile quite a few times, and can't wait to see it in print so that I can follow up some of the web sites, books and quotes.

Any additional comments?

If you are into taking yourself seriously, goal setting and making a big impact on the world - go see Tony Robbins. This is a refreshing, human, personal and touching book that will help you work with your reality. "Forget thinking and start thanking" - brilliant.

I am so glad I listened to this. Fabulous.

Such an amazing book in its message and simplicity. But don't be fooled, this is immensely powerful - the art and science of gratitude will change your heart and enrich your life if you practice it.

Joyful Gratitude

This is my first Pam Grout book and l must say that l enjoyed every word, thought and suggestion with wild abandon. Her style is infectious and her delivery is entertaining. The content of this book is freeing and simply easier than most.

l am lifted by gratitude and Pam's roadmap is just the encouragement l needed. The one thing that strikes me through this volume is the joyful gratitude that oozes from every line.

I will be getting the hard copy to read just for the fun of it.

Thank but Think First

Being grateful is surely important but thinking things through first is far more important, otherwise you would end up living your life without a goal though probably as happily as a lovely worm. I don't appreciate the author's attitude towards the book "think and grow rich" or the "deeply" hollow content that's less than 0.5 correlated with the title. I guess you have to compromise on the content to make a book a fast-food style best-seller. But still best wishes for the author!

Another great book from Pam

Like her previous books Pam shows how showing gratitude for pretty much everything and anything (even the crappy stuff) is the way to go.
Love her style and good to have her narrating too. Again, theres plenty of experiments and exercises to try to prove this stuff works (some are better than others).
You'll never beat E Squared, but this is a decent book.
