Summary

Lexi does it again!
As an avid fan of Lexi Ryan I loved the idea of her book on audible but also had reservations. This was my first time listening to any story being read aloud and I worried that it might lose something.
Let me tell you about 'Text Appeal' first.....
This is Riley's story, it's one about missed chances, mostly by her own doing, mainly out of a sense of duty.
That is until a mix up with her phone and everything starts to turn around, all her hopes and her fears. Suddenly she starts to see how her life could be, how she wants it to be!.........
Now when I read I normally form voices for characters in my head, but into the unknown I went, earphones plugged in, ready and raring to go!
I will admit at first it took some getting used to, listening to Piper Goodeve change voices from Riley to Charlie then to Chas. Then suddenly I realised it all just flowed and I found myself actually talking out loud with the characters. Telling Riley to make her mind up one way, rather than the other, shouting at Charlie 'the devil' Singleton and scolding Chas, the not so perfect boyfriend.
Because that's what happens when you listen, the narrator sweeps you up and carries you with them. I urge you to try it for yourself.

Great read
Can't believe I've waited till now for this book!! Really enjoyed the storyline and the chemistry between Riley and Charlie. Really easy to follow and keeps you hooked for more
