Nice Story but Narrator

I love Brenda Jackson books, wound love to once listen to one of her books based on African American characters and actually hear African American voices doing the narration.

Great

I really liked this book and would recommend this book. It had a great storyline and sexual storylines. I wish this book was a movie or TV show. The couple was cute and Brenda should get a network to put her Westmoreland family book series on TV.

Hot and Steamy

This was a very romantic sensuous story. The heroine really pursued her man. I liked the narrator's voices and hope Ms. Jackson uses them more often

Another Good Listen

I really like this author. Before joining Audible I have read a number of her books. I really like the Westmorelands. I strong family who stick together but don't get all up in each other's business.

This is a story to listen to if you like the Strong willed woman vs the Persistent/Slightly Cocky Man. You may know how the story ends but the ride is still quite enjoyable. ;)

This book is not easy to follow.

The story is all over the place. The female character is not well written fair

Avery Glymph elevated the experience . . .

Huge fan of BJ and of her Westmorelands series, never doubt that but there was just something that got me thinking. I felt like I had read this one before with different characters and a slightly different take on things. Rico was most certainly the hottest thing since ever for Megan and all her self-control. But I was wanting things to be a bit more edgy. The trail to uncover her great-grandfather's life held me on to this story. I wanted to know more about him than about Rico and Megan. It just felt like things were rushed.

Avery's narration brought the level of visualization up a few pegs for me. His voice delivered that richness and the sensuality of Megan. I found that to be the most delicious of things. The audio was smooth, clear, and clean.
