Most relevant

I loved this novel by Lisa Wingate, the first of her audiobooks I've bought. The story is cute and the characters warm and 3 dimensional (not always the case!). The premise is interesting and the author makes falling in love with the Texas hill country easy, and from the comfort of your own bed (in my case anyway). I recommend this audiobook to lovers of southern fiction and good food, indeed to all readers. Most enjoyable.

Maybe a little idealistic but in this world it’s lovely to have a feel good ending and truth about faith without it being distorted.

Good story, but not nearly as good as Lone Star Cafe, from the same series. Listen to this by all means, but prioritise LSC, if you haven't read that book already.
