About this listen

Sara Hawthorne is a dedicated attorney, a loyal wife, and the mother of two 19-year-old girls. When her husband succumbs to cancer, Sara has to battle the grief and also the addiction to which one of her daughters falls prey.

Where does Tempt Me Too rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It was a sweet story and not one I'm used to listening to, but I enjoyed it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sarah's best friend was funny and I enjoyed it when she was in the scenes

Have you listened to any of Chris Chamberlain and Marie Rose ’s other performances? How does this one compare?

I haven't but Chris's version of George put me off a little bit, his fake laugh was a little irritating.

This was a really enjoyable listen, a great story of a second chance romance between a coup!e in their early forties which is refreshing. I could relate to the references of dating in the 90's, before mobile phone and social media etc. Loved the narration and the story.

This is a beautiful story of a second chance of first love. At the same time, it looks into addiction, drunk driving and infidelity without telling all the warnings. Instead, you get a real life story with all its consequences but not told with a lot of drama - it's told in a very calm and clear way focusing on the second chance of the first love of Sara and Max.

I really enjoyed listening to the audiobook even though I sometimes had I a hard time listening to the male voice of Max's friend. But since the story was a very cute and romantic story I decided to enjoy the story anyway. And I really did! I can highly recommend this audiobook for everyone who wanna enjoy a sweet, heartwarming and romantic story that involves teenage daughters, their mother and the mothers long lost love!

I was in two minds about this listen as I only lost my husband to cancer last year so was a little iffy
The story of a mother with her two daughters following the loss of her husband ...she then re establishs a relationship with her first love , there’s a couple of twists in this well written book but the speed in which she finds love again is too fast personally for me .
The narrration is a real performance which I find so important when listening as it can so easily break a book but if the performance of thi# had not been so good not so sure I would have continued as I did have a speed issue but pleased I did

Sarah and Max meet in high school and fall in love, only they are too young to recognize that intense relationship. Then they move apart and are re -united years later, only by then, they aren't free to love each other. Then Sarah's husband dies, and fate brings them together one more time. Are they ready now? There are still complications to work through? Can they do it? What will her daughter's think? How will they accept this new man in Mom's life? It's a secret you'll have to find our for yourself. It's worth the listen (or read). This is an awesome storyteller with a plot that's well-written and characters you'll love. The narrators are fabulous.
